Paid $6100 and sent in 2 pieces of audio gears as trade in toward the purchase $10,000 Wolf Audio Music Server (A high end computer based audio component that plays high resolution digital audio files into a stereo system). Purchase was made 09/10/2023. The component I payed for was never finished or shipped. A year of inquires from me as to when I'll finally receive the device, only to be responded to with a years worth of excuses, and unfulfilled promises. Finally in 08/24 I decided to back out of the purchase, and thankfully the owner *** ****** (owner) agreed to return my gear I traded in and refund me. Well, finally after a month of haggling they eventually returned my trade in gear, but one piece was damaged though. THEY STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED MY $6100 DEPOSIT!!! Lots of calls from me, lots of excuses and false promises *** ******.This place has no integrity. I'm disgusted!Business response

This complaint came about because of a supply chain issue with ****************** and their parts suppliers. When we agreed to refund the customer, there were pieces of gear that needed to be returned, and once everything was settled, a check would be issued. House of Stereo refunded the customer via check that was sent on October 16, via *** Tracking 1Z64398W0220835246.Initial Complaint

They initially owed me 10k for a return. They have given me a partial refund--one time for 2K and another for 3K, but they STILL owe me 5K. I have tried repeatedly to get this money and every time I get a respone like "we're not ******". Duh, this company is an EXTREMELY high end stereo component dealer. The Ayre amp was 10K. I hope you can help me. Thanks for allowing me to file a complaint.Customer response

I paid $2,500 for an audio cable and did not receive it. I want a refund.
