We purchased all new appliances from Setzers in December 2021. They were installed on December 23rd. The new dishwasher has never worked properly. We were told it was installed incorrectly so we called Setzers. Long story short, after numerous calls, we are now going on 5 months with no dishwasher. Communication and follow up is horrible. The owner is rude and could care less about the business that locals give him, so if your reason for going with Setzers is that you want to give a local small company your business, dont bother calling them. Bottom line - they took our money and have left us with a dishwasher that doesnt work. There is no sense of urgency to take care of this problem after the initial sale. The nicest thing I can say about them is that Candy, the dispatcher, is a saint to put up with the owner. She has always been very pleasant on the phone..and one of their service technicians, ****, is really nice. Other than that, its been a HORRIBLE experience.

*************** this caught me as a surprise. I didn't feel like we had any bad communication except the weird interaction when after we called the ****************** company to get field notes they had decided to show up at your house the same day I scheduled our installer to put a new drain line on your dishwasher since their notes were incomplete. The last conversation we had I told you the new dishwasher was ordered and would take between 4 and 6 weeks as that was the timing we were given by manufacturer. I have been waiting and the same day your dishwasher came in you post reviews like we have done nothing for your problem. I understand the frustration and am sympathetic of it, especially since I was without my dishwasher for 6 months waiting on a control board with 2 little kids. I may have been a little short with the response to the reviews but that was because I saw the reviews after your husband popped in the store, I told him "Hey your new dishwasher came in today, I was told a couple hours ago, but haven't had a chance to call you.", Then we set it up for this Friday to be installed. I am sorry you had to wait but that is the nature of appliances as the moment. There are a lot that are available but not every item is widely available. Some like Bosch can have a lead time of up to 14 months. Truly sorry it has been horrible but everything else was working and ****************** who couldn't pull the dishwasher out started the bad experience and we have been trying to get every thing taken care of as quickly as we can while jumping through the service hoops the manufacturer had put in our way. If we had our choice nothing would have a problem and fi they did parts would be available and the service companies would only have to make one trip.
