I recently purchased a 2013 VW Tiguan from Tom Bush Volkswagen in Jacksonville, *******, for $8500, and I couldn't be more disappointed with the experience. The car they sold me turned out to be a complete lemon. Not only does it leak oil in the engine bay, but the suspension is also shot. The estimated repairs for these issues amount to a staggering $7100, almost as much as the purchase price of the car itself. What's even more frustrating is that they were fully aware that I was purchasing the car to help my cousin, who has two young daughters aged 6 and 2, start her life over. Instead of providing a reliable vehicle that would ensure their safety, they sold me a nightmare that has caused nothing but stress and financial burden. To make matters worse, when the check engine light came on less than 24 hours after buying the car, I contacted Tom Bush Volkswagen, but they callously refused to do anything about it. Their lack of integrity and disregard for their customers' well-being, especially those with young children, is truly appalling.I would strongly advise against anyone considering purchasing a car from Tom Bush Volkswagen. Steer clear of this dealership unless you want to end up with a lemon, significant repair costs, and a lot of headaches.Review from Kyle A

1) First Red Flag: The first car I inquired about a few weeks ago was listed as one price on the Internet but when I got there, it was actually almost $6,000 more. Their excuse was they were having computer issues so the car prices on their Internet listings would probably fluctuate a few times until the prices finally settle on some higher prices than previously listed. I was stupid and gave them the benefit of the doubt on this one.2) Second Red Flag: While browsing their other selections, I fell absolutely in love with a blue 2021 430i convertible with just over ****** miles that was listed as certified pre-owned. When I inquired about this car, I was told it was actually NOT certified and that it would be on the original warranty which only goes to ****** miles. I should have walked away forever at this point but I was still in love with the blue convertible with tan seats.3) The Final Red Flag: I let them convince me to work a deal to buy the car mentioned above that I was still totally in love with for $2,000 less but then pay $3,600 for a ******* mile warranty. I had financing figured out and I even signed papers to trade my current car in and buy theirs. The day I go to pick it up they say there was a block on the car from the *** because there was a mix up on the *** # but it would take 48 hours to clear the system. I waited more days than that thinking I had plenty of time only to find out the car was reported stolen and the "***"took possession of the car and there is no chance of it coming back. I had the rug ripped out from under my feet so badly on this one! Then, *************** tried to "make it right" by offering me a regular white coupe with less features than the one I signed the deal on. Although it was one year newer and ****** less miles, it was still not even close to what I fell in love with and they still wanted to charge me the same price!Review from John O

(Same as Yelp review, Minus the copy of the Mazda corporation service bulletin stating that the AC line was defective because it was too thin causing it to crack due to engine vibration. Dating back to 2016 Covering 2016 to 2020 models.): Bought new car in 2018 took it in to the dealership for oil change and to ck the AC as it's not cooling. They come back with a leak in the ac that will at the start cost over 1k. 4 year old car with 8k miles, ac leak costing over 1k, not covered by warranty or just plain old customer service you know standing behind your product stuff like that. They said they called the corporate office "to go to bat for me" with no results. Go to bat for the guy who's paying, doing me a favor I guess, nice of them after paying 30k for a car just 4 years ago. If you want customer loyalty I think you need to be loyal to the customer first guys. Buyer beware.Tom Bush Mazda-Volkswagen-BMW & Mini Response

My 18-year-old step daughter just got her first car a 2013 Mazda 3. She wanted to be independent so she took it in for her first oil change ever to the dealer. She went in for a $40 oil change and they charged her $1,242.36! They told her her brakes were bad and that it was too dangerous to drive the car, she was terrified. They took every cent. She'd saved up all year from working, she doesn't even have gas or food money now! I've been a mechanic all my life and I have pictures, the brakes didn't even really need changing. They absolutely rolled her! Took advantage of her because they could, never deal with these people, they will take your daughters /children's money! Horrible people!Tom Bush Mazda-Volkswagen-BMW & Mini Response

I brought my car to Tom Bush BMW on ************* in Jacksonville, ** to get a factory recall repair and I have to say that this dealership is above the rest when it comes to taking care of their customer. While doing the recall repair somehow my radiator had started leaking and this dealership not only fixed the recall, but, they also fixed the radiator issue. Then soon after I got my car back I noticed a shudder in my transmission. I called the dealership and made them aware of what was happening and they went into overdrive to help me. They explained how these cars are known to have an issue with that after ******* miles and they knew the remedy also. They took my car in that had 103k on the odometer and placed it on the lift, installed some product recommended by *** and they problem was solved. I couldnt be happier with the entire service staff. I met the service director BJ and he was the most knowledgeable person I ever met when it comes to ***s and after everything was completed much to my surprise, they didnt charge me anything. They stand behind their work until everything is completed and if something goes wrong while doing the repair they fix it at no charge to you. When bringing your car in for servicing trust can often be an issue, but, this dealership is a leader when it comes to trust and in this day and age that is hard to find. I also had the privilege of meeting the dealer principal ******************* along the way. My summary is as follows: You can 100% trust Tom Bush BMW with your car repairs. They stand behind their work. They wont try and upsell you on items you dont really need. They are professional in every meaning of the word and they are not satisfied until you are. Plus, when they are finished fixing your car it comes back to you cleaner that you took it to them as they wash your car before returning it to you. They also provide free snacks while you are waiting. Because of my total experience I give this dealership 11 star
