Company came out and serviced my house on June 20 2024. Service is supposed to last a quarter (3 months). You can call and have someone come out and spray again but often you are waiting WEEKS she then to come neck out. I was not happy with the service because I had bugs at my door the next day and they didn't clean the cobwebs from the pool cage. Two weeks later, I walked out on my pool deck in shoes and get attacked by red ants, so I cancelled because the product didn't work. They are refusing to clear the charges and are threatening to send me to collections with another $40 charge. I days I want going to pay because I had bought my own product and it works (I have the receipt). I have been complaining to this company for about a year.Business response

We offer our services with a guarantee in between regular quarterly services when issues arise as most companies do at no additional charge. We have provided that guarantee service to *** 4 times with 3 Call backs and 1 scheduled follow up again at no additional charge to him. He called July 17th to cancel service, which we did process. He did not mention that he was not going to pay the balance on the account. The balance is for the service performed June 20th. We could have worked with him at that time and offered to adjust the collection fee. However, the service was performed. It appears *** is expecting to have no pests at all and that is unrealistic in ********
The product he mentioned in his review stating that he is now using himself, is not labeled for inside use as it is a termiticide and the label states the only inside treatment is a spot treatment for termites and not for household pests. We follow the labels as this is the law we are governed by. We try our best to do everything we can to satisfy every customer with integrity and lawfulness.Initial Complaint

The salesman are a service I didn't request when he came to my home. When I found out I contacted the company and was told the salesman ***** is an outstanding guy and would never do such a thing. I was further told that because I signed the agreement I'm stuck with paying over $1600.00. While signing the agreement I confirmed with ***** what if I'd be paying for he said yes and failed to disclose that other services were there added. They refuse to remove the charge and were very rude about it.Business response

Subject: [External] BBB Complaint ********/Final NoticeThank you for reaching out. On 2/2/22 the customer signed an agreement with our company and agreed to a total price of $1,650 for the first year with an additional $189 warranty renewal if the customer chose to renew. The customer was contacted by an office administrator several days prior to services being performed to go over the process, as well as to inform the customer of the date/time we would be performing the initial service. The morning of the initial service, the customer was also contacted by two separate technicians that were performing services on the property, as well as services performed inside the home (access was granted). Only after the service was completed did the customer contact our company to say it was not authorized, despite the phone calls and signed contracts. The current balance on the account is $1,345.24 as this is the charge for the services that have been fully rendered. The customer was not charged for any services that we were prohibited from providing once the complaint was raised (follow up trap checks). After initial complaint, on 02/11/22, we returned to remove our property from the customer’s home and were denied access, the customer was not charged additionally for our property that we were unable to recover. In short, a clear and legible contract was signed by the customer and the services were scheduled with the customer (inside the home services had been performed); however, the customer has chosen to withhold funds and has been sent to a collection agency for the amount equivalent to the services rendered.

The balance of $55 has been removed from the customers account. I apologize this was not done in September when the customer reached out to us. The account was never sent to any collection agency.

There are many issues to file in this compliant. Chief among them is McCalls terminated my service stating I requested the services to be terminated; I did not request my services to be terminated. In fact, on July 27th McCalls charged my credit card about $700 for a prepaid, yearly termite bond. I requested they return these funds or reactive my account. To-date they've done neither. I had the following services: fireant, termite, lawn care, bug. All of these services cost about $1000 annually. In Apr2021 I contacted Customer Service because the dollar weed was growing in my yard. The rep said I did not have the lawn care service. I assured I was a long time customer (7 years). The call ended and I called back, spoke with another rep who was able to locate my services. A technician came to my property, put a sign in my yard stating it was treated then drove away. HE never treated the lawn. This process repeated several times until I was able to meet the lawn care manager ******* *******. ******* came to my house to see the issue first hand. She agreed the dollar weed was a big problem and would have a technician come and treat the property. A tech came a few day later but he did not treat the yard. He put a sign in the yard indicating it was treated then stayed in the truck for 20-30 min before driving away. Then the matter was then escalated to ***** Hutson on approx 10/27/2021. ***** said he'd come look at the damage caused by months of neglect. He never came. I asked ***** for a refund he never called back and instead cancelled my services. After repeat followup with ***** he told me he'd have his manager ***** ******* call me. ****r never called. the customer service is horrible and I am owed a refund so that i can use the $ to find similar services. . However McCalls has since canceled my service telling me I requested the cancellation. I did not request cancellation but I did request to speak with management about ongoing issues
