This home is built at *****************. Back in April of this year I received the last walk through with the Realtor Riverside of ******* with the realtor ***** *****, I was given documents to document the things that needs to be fixed (I was given thirty days to do so). I emailed the list to the realtor and after three months of back-and-forth email and tests. I finally told (****) a **** for blue ribbon that someone need to come out to see what I was talking about. I wanted to show them. There is a hole that was not covered under the master bathroom sink. Master bedroom the sliding glass door is not on track a long gap is at the bottom where lizards and other critters have crawled in from. Since I've moved in, I have placed a thick bath towel there. Water seeps under when attempting to wash the glass doors. In the living room there is also another sliding door. One was with a crack which was replaced. After replacing it I have to shut the door hard making sure it is lock. There is also a large gap under where frogs are coming in from the top. the bottom one a snake tried to slither under it. I am tired of finding frogs in my home and also large spiders. One of the windows have a hair line crack. The main front door has a hole that you can see light from. Lizards, crickets, spiders are coming in, one of the strips from the interior of the door is bulging, making it difficult for the door to close. The interior garage door the hinge on the bottom broke off in the first week (*screws and hinge fell off). All these I show **** from blue ribbon, He came out and did the inspection at one point he was opening the door, and a lizard came in and he started dancing as if he had stepped on something hot. Now if he is doing this and just came in to examined it. I live here and I am tired of waking up or coming in and finding these things. I want to wash the glass sliding doors and afraid because water is seeping in through all of them top and bottom. NOT HAPPYBusiness response

Good afternoon,
We understand that the problem as related can be an issue, and that is why Blue RIbbon Homebuilders, Inc. has contacted the manufacturer of the door and spoken with their top manager for all of North America and reported the complaint. To my knowledge, the manufacturer has twice sent a corporate-trained technician to work on this particular sliding glass door. We provided the client's name and contact information to the technician's office so they could schedule the time for the visits. I was told by the manufacturer's management the client did not respond to their last attempt at scheduling a follow-up visit to address further concerns. I will be contacting the manufacturer after I send this email to follow-up with their management and to detail the current complaint.

After a year of back and forth with Blue Ribbon, we signed a contract to build a new home on my property in *******, ******* on Oct 22, 2021 and the money for the construction was put into escrow with ************** in *******. Blue Ribbon cleared an area for the house in early December and filed for the septic permit, which was denied. At that point, they said it was my responsibility to figure out how to get the permit. The permit was approved early March 2022. I was in a meeting at Blue Ribbon's office with 2 employees of Riverside Realty (the company that is supposed to be the go between with Blue Ribbon clients and the owner), one employee of Blue Ribbon, my nephew who helped me get the permit approved, and myself - when we all found out the permit had been approved. I was told Bue Ribbon would break ground on my home in 3 months. I asked for an update on June 1, 2022 and received a reply June 4 that they had to raise the price of the house $40,000 and that no progress had been made in the meantime. The reponse indicated that they didn't know the septic permit had been approved. They said they would understand if I wanted to cancel the contract. I have been trying to do that since June and have an attorney, but *********************** (owner) will not provide the documentation my attorney is asking for, which is proof of payment for what he is reporting he spent from the intial draw, and he is avoiding communication requests. **** has taken one draw from the escrow and the balance is still in escrow at Hometown Title. **** also 'authorized' the title company to pay the realtor's commission from my funds when the contract states that the builder is responsible for that payment. At this point, I want proof of what he has spent, my commission refunded, the rest of my money that is in escrow, and to be out of the contract.Business response
