My family and I booked a stay with this company, and gave them our card information to secure the booking. 2 days prior to check in, I called for confirmation and instructions and they told me the stay was not available because we didnt call them to process the card. I stayed on the phone with them for over an hour and came to the resolution that wed get another unit with identical space and amenities to our original booking- which was 3 bedrooms and a balcony. I received email confirmation of this. They also told us that we could check in an hour early(at 3PM) for the inconvenience. On the day of the check in, I got a text saying I couldnt check in until after 5PM. When we arrived, the unit only had two bedrooms and no balcony, AND a leak in the bedroom window. Water was pouring in. I immediately called them and let them know about these issues and no resolution was provided, other than my family and I could leave and theyd give us a refund for the remaining nights. That was not an option because the city had a big event going on and most places that could accommodate us was sold out. After check out, I continued to reach out to get a resolution that would be fair and reasonable, and I have not heard anything. Check in was July 5, check out was July 8.Initial Complaint

Even before my stay, the customer service was terrible. I booked and my card was charged, but I did not get a confirmation email or see anything on my online portal. I emailed, and they assured it was booked, but could not update my account. Then, when I tried to change the reservation (within their 30-day period, when you should get 50% back), they instead only refunded me 25% they said this is based on dynamic pricing of total stays with the difference, not on the rate I paid.They are clearly willingly obfuscating customer information and toeing as close to the line for fraud as possible. I'm hesitant of going through with my stay now, but I feel like I have no other option.
