I had a very positive experience while purchasing a used vehicle at Automax Ocala. The staff there were very friendly and professional help me complete the transaction in a fairly short period of time. I also sold them current vehicle during the purchase transaction and they gave me a very good price for it. Im very very pleased with my experience at Automax Ocala

This is a total 10 dealership, we have purchased our last 5 cars/trucks from them. Our salesman ***** was very knowledgeable and patient with us, He took time to explain everything and even helped connect my husbands phone to the wifi on the truck. The truck was immaculate and we were given the best deal for the money. We will continue to purchase all our vehicles from them & have sent all our friends to AutoMax...the general manager **** was the best!!!!!!***** ******

Im writing this review to warn perspective buyers that, in my experience, 1) AutoMax Ocala buts on a face of an ethical and hospitable business, but disposes of it quickly if and when any issues should arise; and 2) AutoMax Ocala was willing to gloss over issues, to include safety issues, with me, which should make perspective buyers question what issues theyll gloss over with them.My experience: I purchased a used 2022 Acura MDX from AutoMax Ocala in May 2024. [truncated due to size restriction] However, what I could not bear were the issues found at a local Acura dealership upon completion of a detailed inspection and more notably, AutoMax Ocalas complete disregard and courtesy to work out a solution. Not only did the inspection find 3 of the 4 wheels to have excessive (and poorly done) repair work completed, which could not be fully seen with the tires sitting on them, but also found that the vehicle was sold to me with 2 DIFFERENT brands of tires on it. 2 different brands of tires, with 2 different tire tread patters, shined-up well to make the discrepancy less obvious to the eye. I was told by Acura that a dealership willing to sell a vehicle like this was highly questionable and unprofessional. Hard for me to disagree and hard for me to accept any possible safety concerns this posed for my wife and unborn child. I called my sales associate and customer services representative, whom both had expressed strong convictions for a transparent and quality sales experience, to work out a solution, however, was greeted, in summary, with my boss said too bad and the vehicle had already been sold to me at a deep discount I paid asking price on the listing, without an attempt to negotiate lower. Regardless, neither of these responses show any hospitality and more importantly, business ethics.

*** (sales) was no pressure and very knowledgeable about the vehicles. ***** did a good job of getting acceptable financing. A good experience.

As a follow up, 3 days after my purchase my truck started experiencing harsh down shifts that made the tires squeal, no cruise control and one day later an engine light code indicating 6th cylinder misfire. You would think they would stand behind what they sell and take the vehicle back, but I was told to take it to ****** to get it worked on. $31k for a truck with 49k miles and after 3 days I am told to take it to ****** in hopes that they might fix it. I knew when I noticed green coolant mixed with the orange in the reservoir I should have walked, but I paid to have that flushed and now I am having these problems and Automax is no help. Good luck with this dealer, better hope you dont need them after they sell you something.

Its a shame there is only five stars to rate Automax of Ocala! 100/100 would recommend! My wife and I were looking for a bigger vehicle (third row) due to our growing family. From our salesperson **** and the sales manager ****, our experience was amazing! They were wonderful to work with and understood what we needed. They worked tirelessly to make sure we purchased what was needed for our family. It didnt stop there! ***** our finance manager was amazing. With all of their help, they made sure we got the best deal possible. We even got to meet ****, the General Manager of Automax! He was there to make sure all was the best experience possible. My wife and I couldnt be happier with our 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. I want to thank all who helped make this experience the best!

Walked toward the ******* 2021 G80 I purchased and the car salesman hands me the *** fob. I asked where is 2nd *** fob. He said "we don't have it". What every car comes with 2 *** fobs. He shrugged and didn't even say sorry. I then purchased a *** card from ******* and made appointment for them to program at ******* ******* Ocala. Two different guys spent 2 hours trying to program and said I needed original mother *** fob or both ***s. ******* will not refund the $80 for *** card. Asked ******* ******* of Ocala for 2nd *** fob quote and they never responded. Went to a locksmith and he quoted me $220 for ******* *** fob and programming. Key came in a few days later. He could not program. Needed a new pin code which cost another $120. Still could not program told me to come back tomorrow so he could do some research. Thanks AutoMax for all the trouble you have caused me. Ask them up front for 2 ***s before you decide to purchase.

We have bought multiple vehicles from Auto *** over the years. We couldn't be happy with all the employees. Friendly and professionals. ********************* is who we see he has been very helpful over the years. I highly recommend Auto *** on your next vehicle purchase.
