Orlando credit union reported my account to the ********************** bureaus and it was inaccurate information. I have thirty days it bring my account current, with the overdrawn protection. It doesn't matter if it is a day before or two days before, because I'm still within my 30day period. This has affected my credit drastically, and I have been disapproved for several loans by this derogatory account being reported. Every day I check my credit profile to make sure everything is reported accurately. I am requesting damages fees from Orlando credit union from this issue. I am requesting that this be removed from my credit profile expeditiously. This is a very sever manner that needs to be resolved promptly. My checking account was closed due to the inaccurate information being reported, and i have had several things be pulled from that account, and have had to pay the insufficient funds fees with those companies. The only way I knew something was wrong with my credit profile was because i check my credit profile. Orlando credit Union did not communicate with me at all. I am requesting damages for financial loss, and damages to my FCRA rights.

I disputed the account with Orlando Credit Union, CRA'S The disputed information came back verified. I recently pulled my consumer report and noticed that OCU has been reporting a charge off to all credit reporting agencies. OCU has never classified the billing error or provided the original instrument of indebtedness in order to lay claim to this alleged debt, instead OCU charged off the alleged debt and furnished fraudulent information to the consumer reporting agencies as a mean to bring harm to mean and my financial reputation. This alleged debt was disputed well before it was charged off. Any and all money paid to this account shall be returned immediately by money order or cashier's check to my place of abode. I have reasonable cause to believe that the information furnished by OCU is inaccurate. I also have reason to believe OCU is knowingly furnishing false and misleading information to the consumer reporting agencies as a means of committing unlawful extortionate means. This account is shown in charge off status on my consumer report with a balance. I am aware that a charge off in accordance with 7 CFR 1956.54, is the writing off of a debt and termination of collection activity without release of personal liability. I never received a 1099-C for this account, so I have reason to believe that OCU is furnishing their gross income to the consumer reporting agencies. The continued reporting of this knowingly inaccurate information is a clear violation of 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2 of & 15 U. S. Code 1681e (b). I am also aware that if OCU has filled out a 1099 c form and its continuing any kind of collection activity as defined under 31 U.S code 3711 (e) by performing any of the following conduct, administrative offset, tax refund offset, referral to private collection contractors, referral to agencies operating a debt collection center, reporting delinquencies to the CRAS pursuing litigation, you are committing tax fraud and should be reported to IRS Financial gain

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/03) */ Orlando Credit Union is not able to comment on *************'s specific case as we do not disclose information about members or accounts for privacy reasons. Orlando Credit Union provides accurate reporting to the credit bureaus based on account and loan information. It is important to understand when someone borrows money from a financial institution, they are responsible to pay the full loan balance, including any outstanding interest and/or fees. If a vehicle is totaled in an accident, even though the borrower no longer has the collateral securing the loan, the borrower is still responsible to pay any deficiency balance not covered by insurance. Orlando Credit Union makes every effort to provide solutions to individual members and work with them when they have hardships. We also have a responsibility to our entire membership to ensure the financial soundness of the credit union.

The credit union charged me an NSF fee instead of posting my deposit that was meant to cover my car payment. The deposit was posted at the end of the day instead. I want that fee to be refunded to my account.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/20) */ Orlando Credit Union is not able to provide specific details about Lakeysha ******'s comments as we do not disclose information about members or accounts for privacy reasons. In general, Orlando Credit Union charges overdraft fees. These fees are disclosed to members when they open an account, when there are any changes and on statements if a fee is incurred. This practice is consistent with other financial institutions. In most cases, the credit union will waive the initial fee and provide education about the tools we offer to help members avoid fees, including low balance alerts and overdraft protection. Please note Orlando Credit Union posts deposits in real-time. Direct deposits may, however, appear in a pending status. This means the entity sending the deposit has set a future date for the deposit to be credited. Pending deposits are not available. Members are able to determine their available funds by accessing our online banking system, at an ATM, visiting a branch, calling us, as well as recording and tracking transactions. As always, we are happy to work with members to help them find solutions and do what we can to provide a positive experience.
