Would not recommend to nobody we spent $15,000 on a fence. Have called the office for a week and a half waiting on a manager no manager called back the lady who answers the phone is very disrespectful!I bet if it was her $15,000 and her fence was not installed correctly she would be having an issue too but she doesn't care !!!Review from Viviana M

Mossy oak charged me $8100 for a horizontal fence which, although it does look nice in general, it feels extremely cheap and weak. The cedar boards they use are thin and soft so they bend if you just lean on them, and you can just push the pickets in with your hand. Mossy oak does not reinforce the horizontal sections with a middle rail between the posts, a standard practice with the vertical fences which are less expensive than the horizontal fence. When I told them this, they said that's the way they do it and they would not fix anything. On top of that many pickets were already warped and bowed when installed so if you look at the fence from the side you can see the boards are not even. They don't align to form a flush surface. Furthermore, you have to weatherproof the fence yourself and because the wood they use for the pickets is so crappy and super rough, it soaks up a ton of stain. Be prepared to spend another $500 just on stain and the work to do it yourself or have to hire someone else. I wish I could upload photos and videos here.Review from Mike D

I wish I had read these reviews before awarding Mossy the job. Their communication is poor, the installation came with a few issues, and their demand for quick payment is excessive. I will just talk about the collection process due to space. The very SAME day they finished the job, I received a call from what I assumed was a collection agency in the way this person talked to me asking for final payment. I found out he was from their billing department and I told him the job was JUST completed and I thought I had 5 days to make payment before I was late (their invoice also says this). He said I was past due and insisted on a credit card number. I was on my way out and could not talk to him at the moment and he wanted to know when he could call me back for payment. I couldn’t give him an answer and he said someone else would call me later in the day. A few hours later, someone emailed me an invoice that was dated the PREVIOUS day and was marked past due. I emailed her back and mentioned that there is no way this should be considered a past due invoice and that I should not be treated as horrible as they are treating me. I told her I would call the next business day to make a payment. Then, I was away from my phone when she called me after 5pm and left me a message to call her so we could settle the balance. A neighbor saw the installation and wanted to know the company name for his own project. I told him the story of my dealings with the billing dept and how they treated me like a delinquent, and I could not recommend Mossy. He was floored by how they pushed for immediate payment on same day as job completion. I had a roof replaced and was given 30 days, but paid within a week, no problems. Seems Mossy wants to get paid quickly, before a high wind comes and blows away the fence, so at least they already have the money. At this point I cannot recommend them at all. Just hope my fence lasts for a few years, after reading other reviews, I am very concerned.Review from Angela C

Mossy Oak completed my fence installation on August 4th, 2023. Not even two weeks after the installation, on August 15th, the fence started to lean after a heavy rain. My husband tried to call the office the next day and the day after, and got no response. He was unable to connect with anyone in Customer Service. I called the office on Wednesday August 23rd and was finally able to connect with Jade. I sent photos and she was supposed to schedule the installers to repair the fence on Monday, the 28th. The installer came that Monday and said he needed an assistant and would come back tomorrow and never came. My husband called Jade again on Wednesday, the 6th, and she said a crew would come out on Friday the 8th. The crew never called and never showed up. I had to call again for the 4th time today, August 11th. It is four days shy of ONE FULL MONTH since I've been dealing with this issue. You can imagine my frustration at the horrible lack of communication, quality of installation, and lack of customer service. This is a job that should have been prioritized. Their entire website, automated phone service, advertises "Quality and outstanding customer service" and I have received neither.Review from Lawrence D

Mossy Oak replaced my wood fence in 2016. Now, in 2022 I have 5 fence posts that are rotting off at the bottom and fence is leaning badly and needs to be fixed. I called Mossy Oaks about repair under their warranty and was told that the warranty does not cover materials. However, I was told by the salesman when I signed the contract for the fence that they used pressure treated posts and that these should last 20 years. I even wrote this down on my copy of the warranty to remind me I was told this. The posts only lasted 6 years. I am not an expert but I feel pressure treated posts should last more than 6 years. I feel that a materials only warranty is not worth the paper it is written on and any legitimate fencing company would stand behind their product even if the defect isn't covered under warranty. I regard this as a very expensive lesson ($4200) and hope I will not make a mistake like this again. Mossy Oak does not have my recommendation!!Review from Jonathan D

We live on a corner lot and had Mossy Oak install a vinyl fence covering the house's entire back and sides in December of 2022. We evaluated multiple companies but ultimately decided on Mossy Oak for their business values and the quality of materials used. From their sales department (Randy) to their installers, everyone was very pleasant to work with. We had some unexpected setbacks due to house issues and the permit process but everyone at Mossy Oak was very patient and understanding. The two-man crew who installed our fence were extremely impressive and skilled. The fence was up in 1 day and was perfect. No issues or concerns whatsoever. We recommend Mossy Oak to everyone.Review from Meriam S

Sales guy and financing dept were the most proactive part of this extremely expensive purchase. He convinced us that we would have a lifetime warranty with this fence company. The red flags started when the installation guys started laughing at us for the plans. After convincing them the plans for the fence were not that funny, they barely did a good enough job, as the fence was a little uneven. After putting the pyramid caps on the top of the fence, and claiming they were secure, of course they flew off after the first hurricane. After roaming the neighborhood looking for the lost parts, I called Mossy Oaks more than a dozen times, leaving half a dozen messages that someone needed to come secure these caps. Without any response from anyone, I am now having to take matters in my own hands. Placing a DO NOT BUY WITH THIS LYING COMPANY review anywhere, I am looking for a lawyer to file a class action lawsuit, as I am realizing this is pretty common with this company.Review from Gregory G

WARNING!!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! The reader's digest version: I live in an HOA community with HOA fence guidelines. I asked Mossy OAK to come out and give me an estimate. We settled on a price for the fence pending HOA approval which Mossy Oak Salesman completed for me and was involved in the approval process. I paid them a down payment of $2882. I was advised by the salesman and it is marked on the contract that HOA approval pending and nothing would be done of completed upon approval by the HOA. The HOA refused to approve the fence attempts were made by me to have them reconsider. I asked Mossy oak for a refund they sent only $2017.40 of my money back keeping $864.60 of it for nothing!!!! It even says that the sale is pending the HOA approval. I currently have a small claims against Mossy Oak. They are dishonest and a corrupt company. They fail to follow the binding rules of the contract. At first they denied the HOA approval was in the contract, then after realizing it was, they said they interpret the meaning of HOA approval different from what their salesman says it was. I don't give them any stars due to their lack of integrity and honesty.Mossy Oak Fence Response

Terrible experience from start to finish. Signed my contract in January and fence didn't get put up until June. First permit got denied and no one even let me know. Then they blatantly told me that they forgot to resubmit the permit... more time wasted. Permit finally got approved and they still never told me. I found out all of this because I kept going to the city myself. In my opinion I would absolutely NOT recommend. The customer service and communication was awful. Oh and let me not forget that they made me draw the fence on the survey for the HOA myself. Literally used my Apple device to draw dimensions and fence. Ridiculous. Please don't waste your time. Edit: company is so unprofessional that their response on Facebook was " Interesting as we don't even recognize you as a customer... " I wrote back with receipts, texts and email proof and they deleted all my comments and blocked me... gotta love it !! If you weren't convinced before I hope you are now !Review from Robert T

I bought my house in 2016 and the prior owner installed a wooden fence by mossy oak, 7 yrs later it is deteriorating severely, they don't use pressure treated wood, all posts are cracked, all nails have have fallen out, the 2x4 cross pieces are cracked and allorgating like the wood came from a burnt tree, all pickets are roting, stick to a ********** or ****'s wood fence, it's cheaper and made better, my old house I installed ********** wood fence and it is still in way better shape after 20 yrs then mossy oak wood fence that needs replaced after 7 yrs, they give you a 5 yr warranty but I would rather have a better built and better wood fence, when I emailed them they basically said too bad it's past 5 yrs and pound salt. They didn't even concrete the corner or center main posts in the ground, so once again stick to another wood fence with a 15/20 yrs warranty on materials, I will never recommend mossy oak fence to anyone, and I have over 40 panels of **** wooden fence.
