Ana Carol Batalha Torres or better know as “Carol” from ProjectA Design Studio (Batalha Projects LLC) was referred by a landscaping company to have engineering done for permeable pavers for a residential driveway. She said her civil engineer, Tuan Khanh Huynh would be working on my project. I was told it would be completed in 10 days after payment of $2,130. She was paid in full on December 11th, 2022. I reached out to check if the calculations/ engineering was completed on December 28, 2022 with no response. I reached out again January 11, 2023, she then replied saying they will be working on it that week. This has continued for months now. She has promised that it would be done by the end of the week on multiple occasions. It is now 3 months later, still have not received the engineering and she is not communicating. She has delayed my project entirely and I feel victimized by her lack of action. I don’t even know if the engineer even has my project information or what the issue is. Seems like a SCAM, she took my money and no results.Business response

We are writing in response to the complaint filed by ***** ******* regarding their experience with ProjectA Design Studio.
We would like to apologize for the delay in completing the engineering work for ***** *******'s permeable pavers project. We understand that this delay has caused them inconvenience and frustration, and we take full responsibility for it.
After conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, we have identified the cause of the delay and taken steps to address the issue. We have refunded ***** *******'s payment in full, as we understand that they no longer wish to proceed with the project. (receipt attached)
We value our clients and their satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. We take this matter very seriously and want to assure the BBB and our clients that this is not reflective of our usual high standards of service.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
