The contract was signed on 9/23/21, but the pavers were installed in October/2021. Our final payment was over $3000,oo, the warranty for the job per our contract is 5 years, even though their website state "life warranty" . This company supposed to remove the grass(excavation) and get it ready to lay down the pavers. At first, we have to call them since the sealant of the pavers was not done properly and the owner showed up, then we called them more than once since the grass was coming out from the pavers, seems to be that the preparation of the dirt was not done well, in addition the sealant was pour correctly. If everything should have done correctly the very first time, I shouldn't have gone through all these inconvenient. I have sent text and pictures of the issue with no response. After six months, the owner came again and told me to pour Clorox and give it a couple of days. I did text him again, left messages and also text ********co-owner) who said that she will schedule and still waiting. Today I went to the office (address that they do have in their web site),and to my surprise ended up being a house not an office. I also paid for the permit, and they never gave me a copy of it.

****** did text me back and he has indicated that he will come back and lift the pavers on those areas where the grass is still coming thru. As I did mention that the root of the problem is still there. He said that he will text me before coming. It's clear that the sealant did not solve the issue. Hopefully I will hear back from him soon.

I previously made a complaint about this business, and it was resolved, finally. Now I am in the process of selling my home and a title search turned up this open permit. I paid Real Brick Pavers to handle all permitting issues. Now I have to pay to have another inspection done ($150) and pray that the work done was to the plans submitted.

Hired Real Brick Pavers to reset pavers, build retaining walls with brick toppers, and brick the top of steps to match. Date of completion: November 2021 Amount Paid: $4,670.00 Warranty Period: 3 Years per contract Problem: Shortly after the work was completed, bricks dislodged from the top of the retaining walls and from the steps. There is a thin coat of mortar below the bricks and NO mortar in the gaps in between the bricks on the steps and retaining walls. The steps are dangerous with lose / missing bricks. The pavers that were reset on the patio are now starting to sink and shift as well. I have called the office and the owners cell phone. I've spoken with the owner twice and they promised someone would come out to fix it asap but no one has come to do the repairs. I have continued to send text messages and leave voice mails but no one is calling back.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/14) */ We I'll contact the customer at ten day to fix all problems! Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/17) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) A repair person did come out to secure the bricks on the steps and level the bricks on the patio. At present the patio bricks look okay and are no longer a tripping hazard. The bricks on the steps were secured by putting mortar underneath them only, which is how they were installed originally and ultimately came loose. We asked the repair person why they did not put mortar in between the bricks to secure them from shifting and coming loose again, and he said that is not how it's done. I've attached two photos. The first one is of the step tops done by Real Brick Pavers showing gaps in between the bricks (no mortar). The second picture is of a different staircase on our patio that was there already. The bricks are secured both from the bottom and in between with mortar, which is how every brick stair top I've seen has been done. We do feel that without the mortar in between the bricks on the steps the bricks will eventually shift from weight on them, loosen from the bottom mortar, and fall off again. The same issue exists with the bricks on top of the retaining walls. We would prefer if the owner would add the mortar in between the bricks to properly secure them. But if they do not want to do that, we would like the warranty period on the steps and the tops of the retaining walls to be extended to a lifetime warranty. But again, we would really prefer that the job be completed properly with mortar in between the bricks. Today is March 30 2022 and Real Brick Pavers did not send anyone over here today. On 10/3 - 10/4 Real Brick Pavers did not fully complete the work on my driveway and front patio. On 10/5 a sealant was sprayed on the driveway 10 minutes before it rained and it washed away. My driveway was not completed to my satisfaction, and there have been 4 missed appointments to have this resolved. the office gave me an appointment on 10/6, 11/2, 11/17 and 12/1; and on each day no one showed up. the pavers are cracked and chipped, there's a gap pavers meet the house foundation at the front door, the sand between pavers has washed away, and washes down onto the sidewalk, the pavers are uneven in the driveway. I have called the office on a daily basis the week of 11/8 and 11/15, to try and resolve this on my own, but i have not had any success.
