  On 08/14/2024, my ******* drier broke and would not dry off any clothes. I then opened the mobile app NEXTDOOR and searched for someone who was able to provide handyman services and come to our house to check and fix the drier. I found an advertisement posted by ***** ******* where he says that he own a handyman company that also does house renovations that is supposedly called INNOVATIVE ************************************************ On the same day I called the phone number that was advertised on *****' post ************, and asked for prices and when he would be available to come to our house to check for the issue. He said his charge was $75 and this amount would be deductible to the labor price, and that he could come the next day 08/15/2024 at 9am. All the conversation was recorded and text messages are also available. He then came late on the next day and said that the drier had a broken part and that he would order a new part and would come fix it whenever the part was delivered. ***** then asked for the money to order the part (TOTAL OF $173 - PAYMENT CONFIRMATION AND INVOICE CAN BE SHOWN), and never cam back to bring the part or fix the drier. Every conversation me and my entire family have with him does not resolve anything. He never provided a tracking number of the part, and has been saying that the part was delayed for weeks. Two days later he did say the part was delivered to his house and that he could come and fix the drier. He said he would be here on 9/7 (never came), and 9/8 (never came). Now he does not reply to any text message or phone call. After checking out his name at the mobile app NEXTDOOR, I was able to find several people accusing ***** ******* of scamming and getting people's money and never coming back to finish the job. All the posts have been of 2 weeks ago, which means that the posts were not available when we first contacted ***** and would never imagine that someone that came into my house would steal money like this and disappear. Drier is still broken.
