      Saltynative has not refunded my down payment for a bowfishing trip scheduled for May 2023 that was cancelled by the Captain due to mechanical issues with his boat. Although the Captain told me multiple times the down payment would be refunded, I have not received it. This includes the Captain indicating he would make a refund in response to my BBB review submittal in November 2023.

      reserved a fishing charter and had to cancel- cancellation was made 6 months before the trip. Captain David agreed to the refund and I have the written proof of this. I have also spoken to him multiple times. He has yet to send the refund in any form. He has made multiple excuses as to why he has not refunded the money. Each time I have reached out he has assured me that he was going to send the money by check and then it was by *****. I have all of the communication by text message and have told him that I plan to get my lawyer involved to resolve the refund amount

      This is a dispute between a couple that has separated. The gentleman that originally booked the trip is still going. She is trying to recover the money from me. She needs to contact her ex partner. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have spoken to the owner and explained the situation. My ex has no claim to the money I paid. The owner said he was going to refund me and that my ex would have to put the deposit for the dates. 
      i have recent text messages with him again agreeing to pay me back

      I wish we could help her out but we can not refund her and give credit to someone else. That's not how our business works. She would need to take this matter up with the other party involved. Thank you.

      I am rejecting this response because: there is no other party involved. 
      i paid the deposit. The trip was cancelled over 4 mths ago and now my ex is trying to have that date and make me pay for it. 
      i have multiple communications with the owner that I would be getting a refund and now he is changing the story
