On January 29, I had 17 teeth extracted and temporary dentures placed. The very next day my lower denture kept coming out even with a sip of water. Contacted nurse and she suggested putting paste in. I did this but it did not work and the dentures were cutting into my lips and gums. It looked like the inside of the dentures were no smooth either. I tried over 4 days, several times a day to contact this business. I kept leaving messages for them to call back but did not here from them. On February 15, the receptionist called but stated she did not get all the messages. After explaing my problem she said you'll just have to get use to them. The only time they do adjustments in the afternoon and I am elderly and can't get there easily. I am beyond frustrated and I can't eat. This practice also has old equipment and very small rooms in which to work. They care nothing about their patients. They also will not do any procedure without ALL the money upfront no matter what.Business response

All our records are showing pt got the economy plus denture as he ordered. If pt is not happy with denture, I would like to offer him to return the denture to the office for refund and dismissal.

I am rejecting this response because: This has all taken way too much time. I need a set of dentures now. If they can prove to me that the denture I have is a denture plus material I will be satisfied. However, if they cannot I want a refund on the price. Since I can tell that there is no difference in quality of the material (I have worked, i.e. sanded rough spots, on my old economy dentures and these new dentures and they are the same material. I don't know how they could possibly prove otherwise. Short of them having a lab sample and test both sets of dentures and proving me wrong then I stand by my complaint.

Went to see them 5/20/22 to get upper teeth pulled .what was suppose to be a good day was a nightmare paid them 2825 to get teeth pulled temporary denture and future denture a year later .left office and couldn't even wear temporary I was told I had to deal with problem for 4-6 months instead of offering to do simple surgery to fix problem or be sent out to someone else for my overbite problem that other dentist do in office it's called anverplastory where they smooth front teeth down.i have never been so disappointed and embarrassed in my life all I wanted was pretty teeth.Dr **** did authorize 780 back for future denture a year later but not the 480 on temporary that was made for me I couldn't wear at all and they cut all of gum line out of aggrervated at me when I went back in.i don't like to complain about nobody and I will say she was very gentle and did a good job pulling my teeth but on other hand temp denture was horrible and we shouldn't have to pay for something they messed up and I be told just just deal with it 4-6 months when I couldn't even drink a cup of water that day and haven't been able to eat for weeks.having to pay some other dentist more money now so I can get my life back and be able to eat.hes doing simple surgery which just takes a few minutes to grind front teeth bone down.Nobody should be done the way I was done very horrible and embarrassing to have no teeth for over 2 weeks and suffer like I have.On the website they say they offer refund if u ain't satisfied and I think they should stand behind it and me return temporary denture I wasn't able to wear at allBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/21) */ we sent the information as below to ******** at Jun 10th, 2022. And patient responded at Jun 20th 2022 and indicated she will accept the 383$ refund /return temporary denture. (the information we sent to her) In regards to Ms. ****** she is significant skeletal ClII patient(over bite) and she was informed multiple times about the overbite situation before we started Tx. When pt got the temp denture, I cut off the labial flanges #6-11 in order to make upper lip less protruded. I am aware that pt is not happy with the esthetics, but there is not much we could do due to her skeletal structure. Pt admits that we informed her properly about the overbite situation and the only reason she did the exo with denture is because her mom made her. I am willing to take the temporary denture back, refund another 383$. (We need to deduct 101$ for processing fee, XXX-XXX=383$). It is unfortunate that Ms. ***** blame us for things we already properly informed her. Best regards Dr.D
