09/18/23 We ask tampa bay septic llc to rebuild our wastewater tank. We deposit $5750.After 4month they told us they can not get a permit from the city. We ask them to return our deposit. They told us the money was send out as a check.And the check take 30days to mail to us.After a month we call them they still tell us the same story.We call so many times and didn't get any answer. And now they refuse to take our calls anymore It have been **** years since we deposit the money.So we want to have our money back.Initial Complaint

Tampa Bay Septic came to my house on 1/31/2024 to give me a quote for a drain field and a time when work will be done. The gentleman gave me a quote of $4280.00 and told me it would be three weeks. I told him I was having surgery the first week in March and would like this done before and he said no problem they would work a weekend to get it done. Three weeks went by no phone call no nothing. I tried to call and asked the receptionist to have the owner call me. The owner never did, I called back and to get the gentleman who came out to my house who gave me the quote to call me. He never did. Received a call from Tampa Bay Septic today 3/1/2024 and the receptionist tells me it will be the middle of March before they do the work. I demanded the owner call me and was told that the gentleman who came out to my house was the owner but refuses to call me in reference to why he told me three weeks and its going to be double that at six weeks. My complaint is they (the owner) lied to me and will not contact me. I did not get the time frame in writing but I did write on the original invoice that I needed this done before my surgery on March 7th, which the owner agreed to.Customer response

We hired tampa bay septic to repair our drain field ! After emails back n forth with the owner he match a local company price and we hired them on April 23,2022 putting ******* down as a deposit and the other ******* to be paid on completion. Was told 3 to 6 weeks for permits and we would be put on the calander the next day for repair. June 15 was the first date we was looking to have the repair finished , that day came and went so we contacted the county and tampa bay septic by phone was informed it would be another 3 weeks still waiting on the county for permits . The county told me they didn't receive our application until June 3 and it was signed on June 22 . We called in July after hearing nothing from the company they was shut down for Vacation. I did leave a message and a email inquiring about our permit Now we gave them till Aug ******************************************************************************************************* commit to due the work blamming the county since april. When I asked for a refund and questioned the price breakdown they got upset representative was extremely unprofessional and her customer service was horrible. Now once I got off the phone with her the owner **** called I explained why we was canceling the contract he apologized saying he's been sick etc and they dropped the ball but magically 15 mins after I contacted them they had our permit and we was on the schedule for repair the next day with without our knowledge or consent. I again asked him for a refund minus the pump out fee of 325 and the 185 for the permit . He informed us we would be charged **** when I questioned why and wanted a Breakdown of the charges he refused and would only supply that with our refund i ask for it prior and he told me that I nor the county dictate how much he charges and refused to send me a breakdown prior to the refund and stopped communicating with us we are asking for a charge breakdown and a refund of the money
