On March 28, 2023 I hired Furry First class to transport a dog from Washington state to North Carolina. Marley is a 3-year Puli that was being re-homed to me. They were supposed to picked Marley on April 5 and deliver him to my house in North Carolina on April 8/9 $850. A deposit of $425 was sent via Zelle on March 30. After several attempts furry first class contacted me on April 4 at 6:42 pm saying they had an accident and did not pickup Marley until April 7. I let them know I was traveling for business on April 9 and would not be available until April 16. They said they would meet me anywhere on the east coast to accommodate my schedule. We agreed they would drop Marley off at my friends house on Thursday April 13 after 6 or Friday. They picked Marley on April after 4 pm west coast time. No contact April 11. They called on April 12 and asked to drop off Marley in 20 minutes at my friends house. Inconvenience sense I was in business meetings all day. They did not leave his bag of toys or blanket. These were his blanket sense birth and toys for Marley and is new brother. They demanded the remaining payment on April 12. I have asked repeatedly for the dog bad back without and response. Not a way to treat a paying customer. I would like an apology, the dog bag of toys and blanket back, and a Partial refund for my inconvenience. This is unacceptable behavior. Accident happen on the road something’s are out of our control on the road we have a contract that you signed stating we can arrive early or even late at times due to the fact we are taking care of animals on the trip some pets take longer to take care of then others and we can’t know this until we actually pick them up, I’m not sure about the items you are talking about because I clean my van out throughly after every trip and there was nothing in thereCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:see text messages and letter from Marley’s original own proving what I said was true.
I want Marley’s bag back.
it’s unfair to keep it.
