I bought a product from ElectroOptix and it was defective (one of the eye pieces did not illuminate) and ultimately it was not what I needed. I returned it via a shipping label that ***** emailed to me. I sent the product back. Afterwards, when I realized I had not had the money returned to my card that I purchased the product with I called *****. His voice mailbox is full and you have to call his cell number if it's "an emergency". It's been like that for weeks. Red Flag. I called him and he took my info and he said he would send the money. Why didn't he do it before I had to call him? If I hadn't called him would he have ever returned my money? I waited 9 more days, after I spoke with him and he said he would take care of it, before I called to tell him the money STILL was not returned to my card. He talked over me and said PayPal is the processing center for his orders and that he 'did it already'. After hanging up I got a text saying he called PayPal and they would expedite it and return my money in an hour. 2 hours later I called ***** again and again he was talking over me and then he hung up on me after saying 'he did what he could do'. I called him back and asked him why he was hanging up on me. He talked over me again and told me he is 'very busy'. SO he has time to take people's money and when they return his defective items suddenly he has no time to make sure they are reimbursed? SO he makes money off of shipping, and not reimbursing the customer for it, by sending out a product that did not work properly in the first place? Previously he sent me batteries, when I first called to tell him an eyepiece was not illuminating, and it still did not work. I spoke to him at length about my alternatives for what I needed his product for and he was very informative and had plenty of time to chat then, but not now when it's time to return my money. He is rude, lacks accountability, irresponsible, provides shady customer service.Initial Complaint

I have an lrx-200 2x4 magnifier. it has a life time warranty according to the booklet which came with the unit. The holder for the batteries has come out of the unit. I am trying to get a replacement.. I have called, but no one ever answers and have sent e mails back in December, with out a response. This unit, according to their web site, is still being produced and sold.
