On 1-21-23 I ordered a vehicle information package from Carlookup.com for $1 which is what was quoted to me online and I expected to pay. However, I was also charged $24.95 and $19.95 for a property report that I didn't want and didn't ask for. If i want information on a property, I'm a Realtor and am very familiar with how to look up property info on any county site. My wife emailed the company on 2-20-23 when we received our bank statement and asked them for the 2 unauthorized charges of $24.95 and $19.95 back because we didn't order any property info. They said I did authorize it online and no, I can't get my money returned. I let them know that even if I had accidently authorized it thinking that I was authorizing the Car info that their website says 60 day money back guarantee so, please refund my money as I didn't order it and I'm following their stated company policy and, it has only been 35 days. I have not heard back since and the money has not been returned.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I received an email from the business saying they would request a refund from their finance department which I accept and appreciate however, until I actually receive the refund, I do not accept the solution.

On Friday, January 6, 2023 I attempted to use their website to search a vehicle vin number. During checkout I was told the total amount would be $1 for one vehicle. I then received an alert from my bank account for 2 transactions. One for $1 and another for $24.95. I have called and emailed to receive a refund with no response. Their is no live person to contact.Business response

In regards to the complaint for ID ********, any subscriber/customer can request a refund as it is clearly stated on the website at cardatalookup.com under Refund / cancellation or more quickly accessed here: *********************.
com/refund-cancellation . We offer a full 60 day no questions asked refund.The complainant can also call the customer support number listed on the website which is ************ or email support at *************************, which is also plainly listed on the website.
Quite honestly, in the amount of time, the complainant took to file this with your office, they could have just as easily taken the steps outlined above and already had the refund within 1-2 business days of the request.
