I am an owner at Tidewater Beach Resort in PCB. We chose Cavinder to serve as our elevator modernization and maintenance vendor based on assurances they gave us about being able to meet time lines. We have held up our end by paying $1.5M so far - meanwhile, Cavinder hasn’t held up their end, with endless delays and one excuse after another! They were aware of supply chain issues prior to entering into our agreement, yet they didn’t factor that in. We have also spoken with owners at another resort that is working with Cavinder and those owners tell us Cavinder’s employees are at the other resort daily - sticking to the schedule that was promised. This tells me Cavinder is able to meet deadlines - they’re just not doing it for Tidewater! I wish I could attach the hundreds of negative reviews our owners and resort has received because of the outrageous elevator wait times. I thought the wait times were bad last year - they’re definitely worse this year. If Cavinder is unable to perform at the speed and timeline they committed to, they should return our money and we will hire an elevator company that can get the job done! Time is money - and bad reviews for our owners equal lost income. Not only would I never recommend Cavinder, I want to warn people not to work with them.

This property is under elevated and was not designed for the frequency of a rental property. Which is why the google reviews are due to wait times. In addition, Cavinder has made drastic improvements to the maintenance, reliability and wait times since taking over the contract from the previous vendor. This company is doing a modernization project of all the elevators at this resort where we own a condo. They promised that the first elevator would be done in 14 weeks, and now it has been 241 days and no work has been done. The garage elevator they were working on during a test crashed to the ground and now we are waiting for the insurance inspectors to determined the cause of this major accident. Now we are down to 1 garage elevator for over 575 condos. So far we have paid $1.5M and nothing to show for. This company must be hold liable for lack of performance. We have received so many complaints by our guests to the point that some of them will never return due to the long wait times on the elevators. Due to this major issue, we have lost thousands of dollars on rental income.

Just awful. It has taken almost a year to modernize just 1 elevator and still not done. Cavinder said it would take 45 days. Garage elevator failed the weight test and actually fell5 stories crashing on the ground. And to think they still have to modernize 7 more elevators. How long will this all take?

Their service has been subpar, our elevators don’t are not working, we’ve lost an incredible amount of money, one elevator they are “working on” was promised to be completed in 13 weeks max and it’s been like 10 months! It’s just unacceptable and there is no end in site. The building is Tidewater Beach Resort in Panama City Beach. Feel free to google it and check the reviews, ALL bad reviews are because of the elevators . Please fix them asap!
