I ordered panels in the spring, with a 6-8 week timeline, it's been over 5 months, and they won't return my call, but took my money

Liars and thieves they sell you a "solar kit" for 22000$ and all it does is feed the grid not your house...power goes out your screwed :-(

En cuanto a la venta y la instalacion no tenemos ninguna queja , nuestra queja es el servicio al cliente , el invertidor se ha danado 4 veces en 4 anos que tenemos el sistema y en lo que lo vienen a cambiar pasan meses y ahora pago el sistema y tambien el bill de la electricidad . Nadie contesta llamadas los emails son mensajes automaticos . si pudiera elegir nuevamente no pondria paneles solares en mi casa con esta compania .

Like another reviewer here noted: this company is quick to sell you the system and take your payment, then drag their heels on the installation. Mine took almost 5 months, and it wasnt a complex system. Worse, they damaged the roof, causing it to leak into the ceilings. I had to pay for a roofer to get it fixed. The solar panel system itself worked fine once installed, but Id advise you to look elsewhere for a more responsible company.

Solar direct did a great job of installing our solar panels. The whole process was smooth and took 2 months from start to finish. It was all done remotely other than the actual installation. After a few emails a zoom meeting was set up, then the contract was signed on line. Very easy with no scheduling . The actual installation was done in one day then 3 weeks later FPL switched out the meter. All emailed questions were answered promptly. So far all is good]

I purchased my Solar system from Solardirect in 2018. **** spend considerable time with me in working towards getting an estimate and helping me understand things needed to get best value (such as reducing demand by things like heatpump water heater which paid for itself quickly AND saved me significant sizing on my system). I live in ********* ** around 4 ***** from ******** where Solar Direct is and I was worried about continued service after install. **** assured me they would stand behind things and despite other competitive estimates from local installers I felt Solardirect was the one I wanted to go with. Today, 5 years later, I am glad I made that decision. I unfortunately had 3 failures on the Solaredge inverter we used. It was covered by warranty and despite the miles Solaredge acquired equipment during supply chain issue periods and quickly and expertly installed it to get me back producing. My warranty included labor for 5 years and earlier in 2023 my inverter failed again for a 2nd time so I'm on my 3rd now. I was worried how much labor would be to come this far or if Solardirect would just supply hardware and not want to do the install. However, I was treated with urgency and the cost charged was extremely reasonable despite the vast distance. I can say definitively Solar Direct is a great company who stands behind what they sell and provide great service years after the sale. Many others I considered I think would have walked away to sell more systems once their labor warranty was up. **** and Solardirect stand with me and continue to provide great service years after the sale. I highly recommend them for your solar needs!I also recommend going solar. FPL and ** changed net metering rules and I went from **** a month for my power to 30 due to $25 minimum now, but I am going with EV soon and will save even more so I would do it all over again. DO IT before they change laws to not 'grandfather' you in on current net meter rules!!

I recently had the pleasure of working with ***************************** at DirectSolar for the installation of solar panels at my home. He was a pleasure to work with and the company itself exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, ******* was available for any questions I had throughout the process. Will definitely be working with them in the future.
