I had called this company on Friday, September 27. They said they would charge to come out and look at my chimney for a potential cleaning. I asked them what a simple cleaning would cost because I did not want to pay the deposit to have them come out if they were going to price ***** once they arrived. They said a simple cleaning is most likely $100. When the workers arrived, they gave me a quote of almost $1800 and acted as if it was unsafe for me not to allow them to do that service. I agreed to the cleaning at $425, thinking they were going to do some type of ******************* that was crucial to be done. As they began the job, they first did not even have the shop vacuum hooked up right so ash went everywhere throughout the house, creating a film on my furniture, my floors, and my mantle. They then just vacuumed the area and used a snake-like-wiring with a drill to knock material out of the chimney. When I looked up basic cleaning with other companies, that is normal practice for a normal basic cleaning. This company had charged me four times the amount of other companies for the same type of work. However, this company also left a mess in the house. I then reached out to the company to discuss this further and asked for management to give me a call. They never did. I called them back and sent an email in writing with my concerns, asking for $300 back to somewhat match other companies basic cleaning costs since they were not talking about even coming out to clean up their mess. They refused and are now refusing to talk with me.

The technicians callot give a quote over the phone, they have to inspect first and then give a ballpark price in person for the customer to decide.

Our notes do not show the customer attempted to contact us after services were provided.

June 30 2024 the worker came to clean ducts and vents. He was there 2 hours, cleaned vents. Brought in a blower, blew dirt from all vents. He left. Never took dirt from the ducts. I called back in 2weeks to ask why. I asked a woman what the procedure was. I asked if they hauled away the dirt usually. I told her they did not do that. Said she would schedule it. No call back I called again. Said they would send someone on Friday at 11 am. At 4 I called back. At 6 I was called by the man. He said his car was in the shop. Would reschedule. No call. I don't know which one was worse. The secretary or worker.

I am rejecting this response because:

They did not finish the job. The dirt is still in the system. No dirt was hauled away.

This customer paid $1500.59 for deep duct cleaning because there was so much dirt.  We would have vaccumed the dirt away as part of the service.

It would have cost $100 just for general maintenance cleaning, which would not have helped the customer's asthma so they approved the deep duct cleaning.

We reached out to technician - he advised he did a great job and was not asked to come back out.

On 6/29/24, contacted Certified Green Team to clean out our dryer vent after seeing an ad for $79 dryer vent cleaning service noted online. They immediately called us back (on a weekend) and scheduled us for the next available appointment, which was on 7/2/24. They came out, as scheduled, and proceeded to tell me that the $79 advertised special was only to blow air through the vent with a shop vac and they recommended that we have the lint removed first, which they referred to as a "deep clean" and would cost $450. The technician asked the office if they could give us a promotion, which they did, charging us $350 (plus tip-paid total of $395). The technician completed the service and before he left, he said being that the dryer was brand new, with smart technology, it would likely continue reading 90% blockage for the first run and would clear out. That was not the case and after resetting the dryer (by unplugging) it would not run. We contacted their office and asked for them to fix the issue and they scheduled an appointment for 7/16 saying that was first available. They did not show up and we called again. They said tech got tied up and wouldn't be able to come until 7/31 which we declined and asked to speak with a manager. Manager called that afternoon (7/16) and said he would come that afternoon at 3pm. After 3pm that day, manager called and said he couldn't make it and they would call back the next day to reschedule. No one called us, we called again and they said we were scheduled for 7/31 which we again said was unacceptable. We could not use our dryer and reached out to another company who came out, said the vent was 100% blocked and fixed the issue (for only $80), and I have pictures of what they pulled out. We called back to Certified Green and told them and asked for a refund. They said a manager would call us back that afternoon, still no call. I feel they are a scam and we should receive a refund for services that were not rendered.

On May 29, 2024, I booked an appointment with Certified Green Team at 10:00am. The website states that a couch cleaning costs $79, and this is also what I was quoted over the phone. On May 29th an employee, ***, told me that the $79 is the starting price just for water. If I really want my couch cleaned it would cost over $350, I think he quoted me $375. He offered to bring the price down to $349 if I pay him directly through Zelle. He also assured me that he would have the couch looking brand new, that all the stains would be gone, and that the couch would be completely even in color (no discoloration) by the time he is done. He said this will only be the case if I am going with the $350 option, that the $79 option wouldnt really do anything. Due to the current circumstances, I didnt really have time to reschedule with another company and really wanted this couch to be cleaned so I agreed. He also told me that he doesnt have another appointment until 2:00 so he can stay longer and really work through all the stains. After less than 1 hour, he wasnt there very long, he said he was done and asked me to come take a look. The couch looked pretty much the same, there was still stains and discoloration. I pointed out the stains and also noticed that he didnt vaccuum the couch so there was crumbs all over it that he had shampood, so the couch was left a mess. I looked at the couch and said, its not finished, you need to vacuum it and finish cleaning it. He said he doesnt have a vacuum and would have to come back the next day. I called the office to make sure he would be coming in and they couldnt get a hold of him so they scheduled someone else to come in the following Friday. I called on Friday (June 7th) and they said they would have to reschedule, so I rescheduled for Monday June 10th. No one showed up. *** called the office every day and havent gotten a hold of a manager. They say they will call me back, or will put me on hold, and never call back.

Cleaned 2 couches and then was going to clean the stairs. Said he needed a different chemical and would be back the next day. No show. Scheduled for another day. No show. Got through to company once and were told we would be called back. No call. Busy signal now and cant get through. Left a mess of water on the floor under the couches. Total scam. The couches, once dry, are no cleaner than before the treatment and the stairs were never cleaned.

On May 17th 2024 I hired Certified Green Team to clean our large sectional couch. A man named *** came out around 2:00pm and took around 2 hours to complete the basic couch cleaning we had discussed (after bragging that it only always takes him 30 minutes maximum). After he was finished we came into the living room and he explained that the couch cushions were still very wet and that he also deep cleaned my white side chair for free to show me what a deep clean looked like. He then told us that he highly recommended a deep clean for the entire sectional for an extra $490.00. I explained that after the dogs are fully trained with the trainer to stay off the couch I would have him maybe return for the deep clean, he kept pushing but we paid him through ***** and told him to have a great day. (We paid *** $250.00 total, but he quoted us $200. He was kind during the process, so we tipped not knowing what the dry results were going to be). We texted *** the day after and told him how unsatisfactory the cleaning was, he tried again to sell us on a deep clean for more money (screenshots attached). I have called twice, my assistant has called twice, my fiance has called twice as well, and we have no call back to resolve the issue.. This is a very expensive couch and looking up the company there are several reviews similar to ours. At this point I intend on possibly going after this company for a full replacement of our sectional. Im not one to do this sort of thing, but Im flabbergasted at the blatant scam this company is being allowed to continue..

I called this company and asked to have the $95 air duct cleaning special. The technician arrived he opened one outlet and said that it was going to be a much bigger job to clean my ducts. He said he would need to scrub everything thoroughly and it was going to be a big job and take a lot of time. I asked him what he was going to do and he said he would need to remove all the outlets (which he was going to have to do anyhow for the basic cleaning) and would have to deep clean all the duct work and spray all the ducts with a cleaning agents. He said he would clean the dryer vent as well and the job would cost another $400. I told him to do it. I had to provide him with a screwdriver, a ladder, chlorox cleaner and paper towels. He removed the ducts and cleaned them outside. He didn't clean anything insider the ducts. I asked him when he was going to do the deep cleaning and he said he was getting to it. He sprayed a chemical into one outlet. He got on the phone and he was arguing with the supervisor in a threatening tone about something. He got off the phone and told me he was done and asked me to sign his phone. I told him I would agree to pay for the 99 cleaning. His phone didn't have a dollar amount on it. He said fine. I signed it and asked for a receipt. He said the office would email it to me. He left without re-installing the ducts. I called the office the next business day and asked for a receipt. They said they would send right away. Never sent. I called the next day and asked for a receipt a receipt and how much I was charged. The person told me the call was for the $95 special then she put me on hold. Came back and told me that the service manager would call me. He never did. I called one more time but never got a receipt or a call back. The charged my credit card $545 dollars and sent them a receipt that I never saw with my signature from the phone inserted on it.

I had a service done today 3/10/24. The service was to have our sectional couch cleaned. We were quoted $109 on the phone. When the technician arrived to our house he told us that if we did the $109 service it would do nothing for our couch. He said that there was an additional chemical he could use that would cost $399 total that would make our couch look “good as new”. The company has so many bad reviews that I wish I had read ahead of time because it appears that this is their business tactic. It’s incredibly unethical and totally a bait and switch. We felt like we had no choice but to agree to the upcharge as we needed the couch cleaned desperately and he was standing there pressuring us. He also tried to get us to have our ducts cleaned on our new construction home. He was very good at convincing us that it would be worth the $399. When he was done, he told us that he did his best but the stains “just weren’t coming out”. The couch was left soaking wet and so we couldn’t tell how bad it was until HOURS after he left. I feel sick to my stomach knowing how scammed I was along with apparently way too many other people. I have reached out to the company and I am waiting to hear back and I’m hoping for a full refund. Other reviews have said that they reached out and then were ignored and never given a refund. This company is disgusting in their business practices. I can’t believe I wasted so much money. Please help protect future customers from this horrible company. Their advertising all over their website also says nothing about these up charges.

Contacted Certified Green Team of ***** for a dryer duct cleaning in early November 2023. They had a promotion to do this for $69. An appointment was set for November 13, 2023. The technician arrived (named ***) and investigated the cleaning issue and said it was a much bigger job and would cost over $400. I agree to this and he supposedly cleaned the dryer ducts and we paid this new amount and he left within 45 minutes. In December ****************************************************************************************************** early January **** I contacted the Certified Green Team and was told a manager or technician would contact me to discuss returning to fix the problem. No one ever called back. I have spoken approximately 10 times by phone to the receptionist at Certified Green Team over the month of January **** with assurances that a manager or technician would call me but no one has ever called. I even gave them my cell phone number in addition to my home number but absolutely no response.
