They were the selected repair company from ********** Warranty. They showed up, but tech would not take the cover off and inspect the dryer to look for the source of the loud rattle that has been getting worse and worse. They tried to blame the cause on the dryer vent, but I had the dryer vent recently cleaned and had the dryer vent guy out to inspect it before I opened the claim and the dryer vent was NOT the problem. The dryer vent cleaner said that the dryer vent was fine and to call appliance repairman. A1 Quality refused to take the cover off and inspect anything with the dryer. The primary cause for this type of rattle is a "partially shorted out heating element" and this can be tested with a multimeter for continuity to the case. This can only be diagnosed by taking the cover off which A1 Quality refused to do. They closed the claim without properly diagnosing or any attempt to fix the problem.Business response

This is a warranty service. Photos were provided to warranty company. They make the decision regarding what can be repaired. There was an issue with the vent being crushed behind the dryer. Complaint: 18527159I am rejecting this response because: ******************* Services came on 12/7/2022 and found defective rollers and a defective pulley in the dryer. They ordered replacement parts and installed them the next week and this 100% resolved the dryer problem. A-1 Quality T.V., *** FAILED to diagnose the problem or offer any solution. The tech that came out did not bring any tools or equipment in and he made no attempt to locate the issue that was causing the rattling even with the dryer LOUDLY making the noise when the tech was present. He was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

My wife and I purchased a refrigerator from ************ and a 5 yr ext warranty. (2019) Upon resent return to our home - the freezer/and refrigerator was found to be not working. 11/14/22 claim to Asurion..no contact by A1 I called 11/16 and sent photos as **** requested. No response - so I texted 11/18 and 11/22 - still no response. **** called on 11/23 - seemed to not know that we spoke earlier - and I had to prompt asking if he received my earlier texts. He explained some confusion about my refrigerator make/model - even though I had sent the label and registration card info in the texts on 11/16.We started receiving parts via the mail- but no contact with A1 (****) my wife called today (11/29) to ask when we could expect someone to respond to repair this refrigerator. **** was rude, explained that a whole lot of folks are wanting their stuff fixed after two hurricanes. Said he couldnt give us a date within even the next two weeks. My wife took a pause - and as she was explaining her concerns about a month delay - **** stated, call a supervisor at Asurion to explain your concerns - and just hung up.We dont want A1 or **** at our home - and I would discourage anyone from ever doing business with him for anything. I have a 5-year insurance plan through Asurion in which they outsourced to A-1 Quality TV. On 4/23/2022 I set an appointment for 05/11/2022 at ***************************************************************** which is the location of the refrigerator that needs to be repaired. No one showed up from **** as scheduled. When I call they keep saying I have to deal with Asurion and Asurion tells me to deal with A-1 Quality TV because they already mailed a part to repair address *****************************************************************. I just want my parent's refrigerator fixed, especially when I have paid for the item as well as a 5-year insurance plan. This is counterproductive!Business response

This is a warranty claim. Our understanding is this customer had their product replaced through the warranty provider. A repair appointment is no longer applicable. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
