Yesterday (8/7/22) at Bravo Supermarket, I was waiting in line at the ******* Lotto Cashier Check out when the Hispanic Lady named ********** (?) told me the cash register was processing when in reality she was waiting on another Hispanic Lady to come and check out while I had been standing there in line 10 to 12 minutes. Upon asking ************************ why did she let me wait just to check out another Hispanic lady (who was not in line and I have never seen this lady upon me starting my wait in line) before me. She could not answer me when her coworker tried (foolish defense) to save her by saying oh she was here before you (***). I then said why she did not say that the first time when she told me the cash register was processing. Anyway, this store is telling me Hispanic first and Afro-Americans last. There are more Hispanics at this store than any Blacks working. I will not be going back there any time soon and I will put the word out about this particular location.The amount I spent there was $26.17 on my Debit Card and I would like a full refund and I will never go back there again. Good Morning,
My name is *****************************. I am one of the managers at Bravo Supermarket in *********, **. We received a letter in the mail about a complaint towards our store.
We read over the complaint and reviewed the confrontation dated 8/7/22 at 11:42 AM. We were able to pull the entire confrontation on camera. In the complaint the gentlemen states that he was waiting for a long period of time. The entire moment lasted less than 8mins.
In the video, you see a husband and wife making a somewhat large purchase. They purchased several boxes of beer and other products. The wife had forgotten some items so she stepped away from the register and the husband moved the shopping cart out of the way so that there was space to help another customer. At this specific register, is the customer service counter where we also process lotto and ************** so we like to leave the space open for any other lotto or ************* Customers.
This was was when the gentlemen (complainant) comes up to the register and places his things down, not realizing there is still a transaction in process. The cashier advises him that she is waiting for the return of the previous customer. We have 4 self checkouts and 4 more regular register openly available for him to go to if he didnt want to wait. But he chose to wait.
You can see in the camera that the transaction is still open on both the register screen and the screen that the customer is able to see their own transaction. A minute or two later the wife returns with more products. She was forced to reach over the gentlemans things to give the cashier the remainder of her products and then she pays for her groceries. She then puts all her things in the shopping cart where her husband is standing. And as soon as she was done the cashier helped the gentlemen.
The next complaint from the gentleman we feel a little uncomfortable responding to because of the way he describing our employees and our work practices not knowing who actually works here. However, I will say that our store proudly accepts any human being that is willing and able to work no matter their race, beliefs, or sexuality. Bravo Supermarket is based international products, we are here to serve our community to bring a little piece of home back to them through our international products. We would never exclude any type of person for anything.
The desired settlement. We will gladly give his money back upon the return of the products he purchased with a receipt.

*************************I am rejecting the stores response do to the fact that they are protecting their own (this is why I did not even look for a manager - everybody in management is Hispanic). They can lie about what they claim happened in the video when in reality there was a Hispanic man leaving while I was waiting and the cashier did not say a word about someone was coming to check out anything- only thing she said to me was the cash register was processing. Why would they wait so long in answering when the know that was meat -Sausage and now have the nerve to ask me to produce the recipe and return the meat which have long been eaten and disposed of by now. Well there is always Help Me ******???
