I paid a deposit of $200 to The ***** at ****** Altamonte ****************) for apartment****, and was cashed on August 4th, 2021 for apartment**** for a move in date of August 14th, 2021. On my move in date, apartment**** was not ready and they had to put me in another apartment which is 114. When they moved me over to that apartment, they didn't move my deposit, and charged me $200 on August 21st, 2021. That $200 was carried as a balance until my move out date. They tried to correct that by issuing a credit for $200. This cancelled out the charge that was put on my account, but didn't not issue me the deposit that I paid already that went to apartment****. I have attached the money order, and I need you to check apartment****. You will see I paid a deposit for that apartment that was never carried over to apartment 114 and was never issued back to me. I contacted the property many times through phone and email to explain the situation. I attached these emails to this letter for reference. In both emails, you will see that the accounting department said they were working on a refund for my deposit, but I never heard back from them. I found out later that the property was sold to a different company.
