No company deserves a 1 or a 5. That's not saying they cant earn a 1 or 5.The reason for the low rating it because I've been shopping loyally at Home Depot for many years, just about the first time they opened their doors in ******, ***However, I've been looking for gun safe and I happen to find 1 I liked on their web sight. I almost bought 1 but the price wasn't right.I called customer ********************** and I told the lady the price showed on their sight as $4570.26. She told me it was not and she said the price was $4970.26. We argued and finally I gave up. I took pictures of my screen and text them to the text line, a man responded and said the same thing the woman said. Even after seeing my pictures he wouldn't believe me and it looked like he was calling me a lyre. The woman before him sure called me 1. Just listen to the recording.I still have all the pictures and I intend to give them to the officials for proof of **** and Switch.I'll be more than happy to share them with anybody.Review from Carla M

I just received washer and dryer today and already the washer is giving me problems. I was looking for instructions and there is no instructions for the washer left. I have booklets for the dryer and nothing for the washer. Called customer ********************** and spoke with ****** first and then got transferred to ****** who then told me I would have to wait until Friday for Someone to come out which means that would be my 48 hour window. Now I am a first time customer and I am already annoyed. I did make them aware that I have not been able to wash clothes for about a week and a half and I just want to wash my clothes. She kept saying she understands but I beg to differ. Requested to speak with upper management but she kept talking about an appointment for Friday. I am Very much disappointed and dissatisfied with services with Home Depot and GE appliances.The Home Depot Response

I ordered some Milwaukee packout boxes for a great deal on their website. Turns out home depot said it was an error and cancelled all my orders. I have been a long time pro member and this is just wrong! It is not the fault of the customer and my orders should not have been canceled after they were placed and awaiting shipping.The Home Depot Response

My online order was canceled for no reason. I was really.looking forward to receiving my items ordered. Very bad business. Being that I do order and buy quite a bit from home depot. Recently ordered some items off of your website that were on sale and come to find out you guys miss priced them. The order I input was cancelled due to nothing being in stock, but when you go to the website they show In stock and ready to ship. I will not be purchasing from you guys again due to this incident.The Home Depot Response

I purchased an axe on September Then I return it on September at Home Depot store, location *************, ** store number . Since i returned the item, I have not received a credit to my Home Depot credit card account, i I called on October the to ************************ and was told to submit proof of purchase. Here is confirmation number- Then I fallow up on October and representative from *********************** confirmed that they received the copy of my purchase, and I was told I should receive my credit within 3 business days. I jus checked my credit card statement, I have not received any credit yet.The Home Depot Response

I ordered a patio door from them (special order) they installed. After the installation which took place during the summer, when it wasnt so hot outside I went to set on my patio and too my surprise when installing the door they used a mallet hitting the frame to get it into the opening. Unfortunately they chipped the frame. From the very beginning I had nothing but problems with Home Depot from the installation to missing parts. If you ever use them for a project please check behind the installers making sure you are satisfied with there work. After talking with everyone from the store manager, district manager and emailing the ********* Im still not satisfied. Just be aware of the big box company doing business because money is there main objective not customer **********************!The Home Depot Response

I asked for help sent to the aisle I was in. I waited 20 minutes just to have the man show up with clear annoyance he had to. He said they didn't sell 1lb refillable propane. I corrected him saying they're sold online. I asked if he had an adapter to use certain butane with a certain camp stove. He quickly said no & mocked me, twice insisting I read the instructions before using the stove, saying that much was clear before looking over at my male friend & laughing as he mansplained stuff I never asked or implied. He said they didn't make what I needed (untrue again). *** up I moved on to my next question if they had adapters to refill a small propane tank from a big. He loudly said "I don't know how many more ways I can say it's impossible". I insisted he didn't understand my question and told him I was no longer talking about the butane. He rudely reminded they don't carry the tanks, to which I said I would obviously be buying it online and that since he's given me at least two wrong answers, I was done with his attitude & nonexistent intent to "help" me and would ask someone who knew what they were doing and wasn't condescending from the get go. Up front, I sought out a manager to talk about my experience. Even he had a similar look of annoyance despite how polite and calm I somehow still was when I asked him. On top of this, the employee at "self checkout" insisted on scanning the few items in my cart himself, something they've done the last four times I've shopped there. A friend of mine had a similar experience at self checkout, and according to online forums the company is notorious for treating people as if they're thiefs. I'm not sure why they have self checkout at all but what I am sure of is I won't be going to a check out lane at Home Depot ever again. A pricey mistake they made considering how much I used to spend there just to consistently be treated like a thief have a rude sexist guy in orange (who doesn't know what they sell) basically call me stupidThe Home Depot Response

If you are buying appliances, to include washer or dryer, do not shop at Home Depot!! They only give you 24 to 48 hours to return it and will not allow for any returns or replacements beyond this window. I purchase a washer and dryer at Home Depot; however, the contractor determined I needed a stackable washer and dryer to fit the space rather than the separate individual washer and dryer I purchased. I therefore, reached out to Home Depot. Talked to several managers, as well as the resolution team so see if I can exchange the washer and dryer for a stackable one and pay any difference and my request was declined. Home Depot said they dont have space to accept any returned appliances and their store policy is only 24 to 48 hours for returns. I am now stuck with a new washer and dryer set. Both has a 5 year warranty, that I cannot use. (I didnt ask Home Depot for a refund for these items. I only asked that these items be exchanged and they declined). The washer and dryer plus warranty totalled over 2 grand. The management team at Home Depot said its buyers remorse. Please beware before shopping for appliances at Home Depot.. shop around please!!. I hope this wont happen to anyone else. Please be safe out here. This took place at the Home Depot in waldolf md. *******, *** and several other managers told me it was nothing they could do to support. I am highly disappointed ??!! I asked to have this situation escalated to the corporate office. Still no help from managers at Home Depot. I am greatly saddened and disappointed and will be taking by business else where.The Home Depot Response

Placed an order on their app, and received a discount. Order processed and card was charged. Only to get a call 4 hours later that there was a glitch in there system and they were canceling the order.The Home Depot Response
