Greetings, I am following up in reference to this request for loan# **********. I spoke with an agent on August 20, 2024, who advised that I should expect to receive an email by August 30, 2024, and if not to reach out. I haven't received any correspondence so I called ************ yesterday (September 3, 2024) at 12:20 PM EST. I was on hold for 38 minutes before I left a message. I spoke to an agent on Sept 11th; however, he could not explain how nor why the amount owed was $1,538 and not $735 for the three sessions. I was advised a supervisor would call me the next day, Sept 12th and that did not happen. I called again on September 13, 2024, at 11:15 AM EST and left a message. I still haven't received a return call. I want to resolve this matter before the interest-free period concludes in 3 weeks, 11/7/24.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
As of today, 10/22/24 the Momnt Acct# ********** has not been updated with electronic payment of $735 made on 10/15/24 nor the full credit of $5,165. I would additionally request that Momnt forward a final statement showing the $5,165 credit and $735 payment thus bring the aforementioned account to a zero balance. Otherwise, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

2/19/24 I financed thru Momnt (sales person was here, did the processes) with Alco Windows and Doors. I was not granted any loan terms/disclosures at point of sale aside from 18 months no interest. Salesperson did process on my phone and told my deposit was 50% of my total order (which I was approved for) but Momnt would only allow **** 25% because a change in terms with Alco which indicated then Momnt KNEW there was an issue with this client prior to the loan disbursement and did not disclose that hence not allowing 50. Since then, almost 200 days the company, ****, has stopped all communication, has been on *** News Report and has an F, revoked rating with BBB, no one is available in their offices. I was told by Momnt that they are only a 3rd party. I explained that I have requested refund for a product that I have proven to Momnt was NEVER going to be delivered nor can it because the manufacturer has cut ties, I have proven to Momnt that my attorney has reached out to **** to for mediation and request of refund and no response. Now Momnt wants me to pay on a loan I will never get the contracted goods and services with all the documentation provided to them. I opened a ticket on 9.25.24 with Momnt as a request for refund since the company was illegitmately taking a loan on products I would never get. I have yet to hear back from Momnt after several attempts at Followup and resolution after my ticket was opened with them. I have also called customer service of ********************** where they have admitted hearing issues with this same client. Looking for money back from Momnt for a bankrolled loan for services/goods I can never get as their client has dissapeared on me nor can produce product on contract. I have met many victims in the same position contacting Momnt as well and there is currently a lawsuit in ************** plantiff against Momnt and Alco. I am rejecting this response because:Of course there would be no response from the business. As explained in all my documentation for my ticket to Momnt there is no response to me or my attorney from **** regarding a refund for product that would never be provided. As well as proof from the manufacturer that they are NOT doing business with **** now or in the future. I have also told you the business location is shut down which is why I am requesting the refund from Momnt as I do not believe the proper due diligence was done regarding this fraudulent bankrolling a loan to this company, hence asking Momnt to refund me on goods and services I will never get because the company is ghost, even their website is shut down. Their office has lights off and boxes, unoccupied. Also, no one in the 6 times Ive sent follow up to Momnt regarding my ticket has ever responded and you cannot speak with a live person regarding this when you call Momnt customer service. Only via email in which you do not respond via email. Please refund me as I have sent you proof this was not a truthful transaction made by **** to Momnt and essentially a fraudulent loan.

I am rejecting this response because:No Windows and Doors were provided to me regarding the goods and services you are referring to in your response at issue in the complaint, nor will they be ever. I have proven that in my ticket The loan was provided and marketed on the basis that goods would provided with a viable and active business that can provide which **** is not anymore. I have also told you the salesperson did the auths for me they were making the sale here via my phone, not me. Something which now I understand why they were pushing your 18 month financing so hard now. Currently, there is an active investigation with the ********************************************************* and a lawsuit of of ************** that states Momnt and Alco as Defendants. Is there no due diligence or research on the companies Momnt is backing? Is there no due diligence by Cross River in which you are being funded? You want customers to pay for goods and services they will never get because that is the premise of the loan as you mentioned in your response. You have opened a ticket under the premise that this is being investigated but I cannot speak to any one nor will you answer me via email which seems to be my only communication option aside from this platform. You ignore customers who are also in the same dealings with the merchant. ***** website non existent and their doors are closed. This is who you are bankrolling and your agents have admitted that this company has been a continual issue with complaints. I am in ******* where there is a violation of Statute ******** but you likely wouldnt know that since you are out of GA. Please send me an update on your ticket investigation I opened that you have left without response. Are you saying that customers are to pay on false and predatory business practice without receiving goods and there is nothing to protect me as the consumer? I have contacted Momnt on March 2023 to resolve a financial (refund) issue. Since that date, I have contacted Momnt by phone 5 times and by email 4 times. Each time the response is the same, "...there is an investigation into the matter, we will contact you by email..." each time with no specifics or anyone but the initial person taking the call or email.This has been going on almost a year and a half!Business response

I am rejecting this response because they are an enabler to allow companies to gain funds fraudulently. Momnt has forgiven outstanding amounts and have refunded paid amounts to Momnt from other victims from this vendor (JB&L); I am looking for the same relief MOMNT gave others.I have contacted them several times over the past 18 mo and they have never told me the response above - that it's my problem with the company - they have told me it's under investigation but never provide any timeline or individual to speak to. It's clear from their response to the BBB, they had no intentions of refunding me back my paid funds; they had me on an indefinite "hold". This is a DISHONEST practice and the reason why I am still complaining to the BBB.
If they do not forgive/refund my paid amount ($7,275), then I want EVERYONE to know what kind of company this is. They enable dishonest companies to use them to get money from victims. They tell you they will investigate the issue but have no plans to do anything (EVER). People need to know what kind of company MOMNT is. I cannot be made whole, then future customers that check with the ******************** [rating] might see this and shy away from using them.

I am rejecting this response because I contacted them per their instructions. After I called and provided my requested info to ******, he put me on hold to review my file. After 8 min, we got disconnected and he NEVER CALLED BACK. So, I called again and spoke to agent *****. He reviewed my file and told me the SAME LINE they have been giving me for a year and a half. It is under investigation and will contact me when there is an update. Since they have settled on other accounts involving the same fraudulent vendor, there shouldn't be this delay.They're response to the BBB and to Trustpilot (review site) to my complaint/rating sounds like they are being responsive - But they are not. All I received after their responses is the same BS.
Anyone who is thinking of doing business needs to be warned they only work in one direction. Once they have your money, you are on your own. You are better off looking elsewhere for your financial needs.

On 04/19/2023 I entered an agreement with *********** of ******* for $13,990. The contract gave me the option to cancel it by end of 3rd business day after signing, 04/24/23. The loan application was approved by Momnt ***************************** The loan agreement provides for cancellation in it's 1st clause. I cancelled the contract with *********** by 04/23/23 via several phone calls, voicemail messages & emails. I also informed Momnt/CRB by email on 04/24/2023 that I was cancelling. On 04/19/2023 ** collected $13,990 from Momnt/CRB without waiting for the cancellation period to expire thus they released the money prematurely & with no notice to me. ** also never did any work on the contract & has since gone insolvent. I had attorney letters sent by mail, received 07/15/2024 per tracking & emails sent 07/17/2024 to Momnt/CRB stating all these facts with detailed dates and documentation including the email to them stating I cancelled the contract & loan & requesting for the loan to be removed from my name & financial/credit records. They never responded to these letters or requests. I followed up by filing an arbitration demand to them which is in their contract agreement & is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act with JAMS which were received on 08/20-22/2024 to *********************************** of the copy of the arbitration demand on 08/16/2024. They have not responded to any of these. I sent another email to Momnt/CRB on 09/05/2024 of the arbitration claim and requested an extension of deferred interest/finance charge for 6 months past the current expiration date of 10/25/2024 or by determination of the arbitration proceedings. They responded stating they were routing my request to their Customer Success Team but I haven't heard anything from them since. Finally filed a complaint to **** on 09/11/2024, still pending response. This loan should be removed from my financial/credit records. My next step will be to contact the ** of GA to continue pursuing desired resolution.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Momnt originally opened a ticket of investigation for this issue back on 02/17/2024 (ticket # **********), 8 months ago and I provided them with additional information on 02/29/2024 to assist with the investigation regarding the contractor *********** and the owner ****** ******* who breached the contract agreement and refused to cancel the contract along with Momnt's not honoring their end of the agreement to cancel the loan with all the evidence provided. I have since repeatedly asked for updates by emails and contacted their customers service line as well as sent the attorney letters and filing for arbitration with JAMS and filing a complaint with the ************************************. I also requested for an extension for the promotional interest free period until arbitration is concluded which expires in less than 2 weeks on 10/25/2024. This will add $3355.68 of deferred interest to the loan which I would at the very least need additional time to prepare for financially. None of these have been responded to and now I am dealing with additional financial domestic issues as a result of Hurricane ****** and Hurricane ****** since I live in ********
I need an IMMEDIATE response and am also going to be filing an official complaint with the *********************************. I have kept thorough records and detailed logs of all events and actions (and inactions) on Momnt's part and will pursue additional damages if necessary.

I am rejecting this response because:The only thing Momnt did in this last reply was duplicate the exact same response a second time which did nothing to address the requests I made regarding the issues raised. Momnt has not responded back to the arbitration demand and it has now been 2 months since the arbitration demand was filed by JAMS. JAMS also sent a bill to Momnt on 09/27/2024 for their share of the arbitration fee and has as of yet received no response or payment. Incidentally, I also initially offered the option of mediation through JAMS to try to make things more efficient and quicker. It is an ongoing pattern of unresponsiveness from Momnt which is unacceptable by any standard. I have also received no response for my repeated requests to extend the deferred interest/finance charge currently set to expire on 10/25/2024 until at least arbitration is complete and having now to deal with my own added financial strain of Hurricanes ****** and ******. They have already violated my consumer rights on behalf of the Truth in Lending Act and Consumer Finance Protection Act. The simplest and fairest resolution for them is to refund this loan and my additional attorney fees and shipping and handling fees totalling $15,500 at this point. Otherwise I will continue to pursue this even further until my desired resolution is achieved.

No services were rendered and I have tried to ascertain the relationship between Momnt and BathPlanet and when Momnt may have received info that the contract with BathPlanet was canceled on the exact same day . I have tried to resolve this for almost a year and notified Momnt of the problems that I was experiencing. Momnt stated that they were investigating the case and still advised me that the investigation was ongoing. I feel that they have more power to get BathPlanet to respond to them than I do. Momnt attempted to contact GutterGard South LLC on Gail Usher’s behalf on 11/29/2023. We demanded that the merchant provide supporting documents by 12/06/2023. We did not receive a response to our request, and have not been able to contact the merchant or recover funds on behalf of the customer.

I have contacted you several times about assisting me in this complaint. You only attempted to contact BathPlanet once and it’s been almost a year. Each time I contacted you, I was told that it was still under investigation. This is a company that Momnt was in business with and the funds were sent directly to BathPlanet. I continue trying to make contact ,unfortunately I have been told that the company was sold and Daniel Bradley previous owner no longer works with BathPlanet. Todd Leasure my sales representative no longer works for BathPlanet either. Todd was the person that completed the application for the loan application. I was not aware that the funds would be sent directly to BathPlanet. I would never pay upfront before the job completion. Can you please try contacting BathPlanet again about returning the funds to Momnt. I’m not aware of how your company process works with them, but you know for sure that I never received any funds.

This account is for services that I never received from ***************** that is now closed down. I contacted Momnt in december letting them know that I will not be receiving treatment due to another medical issue. I also told the clinic that I can't receive treatment at this time. Basically I didn't receive ANY treatment from ********** but they inacted a loan anyway. Since Springview closed down Momnt files a court action which they won and received about 24 million dollars, but they are still trying to get me to pay for services that I never even started.Business response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Gregory Washington’s BBB complaint. In response to the concerns expressed, Momnt can confirm that we have researched this matter in depth and would like to take this opportunity to respond accordingly.
We have concluded our investigation and Gregory Washington will receive a full refund on his account. Gregory Washington can confirm this update on his account when he logs into his Momnt account.
Furthermore, Momnt has submitted a request to the credit bureaus to remove the hard inquiry from Gregory Washington’s credit report and any negative reporting that has happened regarding the loan. Please allow 30 to 60 days for this to update on the credit report.
Momnt has successfully obtained a judgment against Wasatch; however, as of this date, no funds have been collected in relation to this judgment.

On April 4, 2023, I contracted *********** of ******* to remodel my shower. Registered agent named ****** *******. They never came to do the remodel. I tried multiple attempts to resolve the issue with them directly to no avail. They ignored my lawyer and my attempt to serve court papers was returned nonest. I reached out to the loan company that *********** partnered with, which is Momnt. They told me they would investigate the issue. I submitted my first ticket with them about this issue on 10/3/23. They made me believe I could trust them and that they would handle it. I have called multiple times about an update and each time they tell me it is under investigation. Now suddenly the loan is appearing on my credit report, suspiciously around the time my 0% APR is ending. I called recently, and they said it should still be suspended and they have not fixed it. I sent a follow up email, and they told me to dispute with the credit bureaus. This leads me to believe they had no intention of investigating this matter. There are several cases just like mine all over their Better Business Bureau page and I believe the loan company had to have known that *********** was not delivering services and continued to approve loans. The loan is for $15,000. I would like my debt to be dissolved, and the loan removed from my credit report. I have reviewed Momnt's website that relates to merchant agreements and Bath Plant of ******* and ****** ******* have violated these terms. It says they require their merchants to pay into a reserve account for matters like this, so why won't they do the right thing. They also have a clause about the merchant violating the ************************* Holder Rule (16.CF.R. Part 433)), which Bath Plant has violated.Business response

In Februrary of 2022 I contracted CG Smile for my Husband's dental work but he had an accident at work and we decided not to go forth with the service - We used the financial provider that CG Smile processed pateint's with called Momnt. CG Smile processed the refund invoice but has not refunded the money to Momnt. I am accountable for this money as ******** has not returned the funds. According to Momnt they have tried to get my refund and they have reached out several times to CG Smile. CG Smile says that Momnt has not sent them proper paperwork and that they have not received a response. At this point they have been going back and forth without resolution and they are holding me accountable for these funds. I have a large amount of emails which CG Smile has not responded too and Momnt occasionally responds with "we are working on your ticket" - I do not think this is fair and I am getting scared because this will soon effect my credit score and I should not be responsible for itBusiness response

Momnt provided the electronic application platform that ******** ******** used to apply for and obtain a loan from *********** for the services provided by **********************. Momnt and *********** were not a party to the agreement between ********************** and ******** ******** to provide the goods and services at issue in the complaint.
Momnt serves as the third-party financing provider. ******** ******** entered into the Installment Loan Agreement and confirmed the terms and conditions of the financing arrangement with Momnt in addition to authorizing the loan amount to be paid to **********************. I am rejecting this response because:Momnt is refusing to send proper documentation to CGC Smile for them to process the refund correctly. ********* has offered two ways to resolve it - the first Momnt can revert/dispute the payment/transaction and ********* will not dispute it OR they can send proper documentation to be signed so that the money can be returned to Momnt that way Momnt has their funds and they can not charge me anything. If Momnt does not do their part then they can not and will not get their money back
