I am filing a formal complaint about the late fee applied to my account this month, which I believe is unjust.On October 2nd, I contacted the leasing office when my payment didnt go through. I promptly provided proof that I had sufficient funds in my account that day, within the 3-day grace ******* However, due to a system issue, I was unable to make another payment through the portal.I was informed that Id be contacted with an alternative payment method, but after following up on October 4th, I was told the office was closed due to a power outage. The office remained closed through the weekend, leaving me unable to pay. On October 7th, I brought a money order as directed, and I was assured the late fee would be waived due to the portal issue and office closure.Ive now been informed the late fee will not be waived, despite the leasing office having proof of my funds before the grace ****** expired. I respectfully request the immediate removal of this fee. I have included an image of my bank account balance on the due date.
