This business acted completely unethically. An apportionment was made with this vet clinic to have a nail trim and **** gland expression done for my dog (*******).On 4/26, several other services were performed without authorization, causing a **** of $366.04 which did not include the services that were originally requested. This business has acted in breach by vaccinating my dog 6 months earlier than needed, which double vaccinated my dog and caused him discomfort and physical distress. When asked to refund the unauthorized services, the vet clinic said they would only be able to refund the vaccination (that was done out of compliance from the **** standard care) and not the other services that were done without authorization. The office staff (******* and *****) acted completely unprofessionally and refused to speak with the person they are placing the blame on (my father). Previous voicemail and phone conversations confirmed the services to be provided and the vet clinic is not claiming responsibility for their unethical treatment of my dog.

      Complaint: 17140388

I am rejecting this response because:

The response displaced any responsibility of the clinic and provided further (false) justification of the breach of vaccination given to my animal. According to the **** an early vaccination is not standard practice.

Furthermore, no resolution was offered in the response of the business. I am seeking a full refund as well as the license number for the vet ********************** (as recognized by the state of Georgia).

      Sincerely,

      *************************

In response to the complaint filed 05/04/2022, ID#********

Our Hospital has responded once already to this complaint.  Our initial response stands.

********************* made her choice when sending her father, as her agent, for ********* appointment.  ********************** was given the choices for this exam and the vaccinations; his choice was to say in his car for a nap and to not be present during ********* appointment.

Our medical staff and Veterinarian did what ********************** requested.

When I first spoke with *********************, after this incident occurred, I told her that we would be more than willing to refund the cost of the ***** vaccine, which was given early.  She refused my offer and wanted the entire visit refunded to her.  She then stated that her pet was sore and uncomfortable from the vaccines.  I offered for her to come in right away so that we could examine ******* for any reactions; ********************* declined.  At this point there was nothing we could do for her if she was unwilling to bring ******* back in.

Our Hospital is AAHA Accredited; we follow all the guidelines set forth by AAHA and the AVMA.  We administer all medical care within the guidelines of the ******** of ***************************** ***********************

I am rejecting this response because:

the clinic still has not made any attempt at a a resolution regarding the unauthorized treatment my animal received under their care.

I am requesting they provide a full refund AND provide the license number of the **********************.

      Sincerely,
