I purchased a $150 gift card online for a friend's birthday on 2/28/2023. She went in for a spa service last week and was told the gift card did not work. After reaching out to *******, a manger at Chateau Elan, he told her they switched to a new gift card system and that's why the gift card did not work. He said he would call her back to provide a new gift card number, which he did not. After a few days, my friend tried contacting ******* again and requested that he issue a refund to me since I'm the one that purchased the gift card. ******* said he would need to speak to his manager and give me a callback. After waiting a few days, I tried to contact ******* and was told someone would call me back within 48 hours. That was on Wednesday, January 31, ****. As of today, no one has contacted me to resolve the issue. I would like a refund because the error was on Chateau Elan. How can someone purchase a gift card and not be able to use it.
