The dumpster was delivered & picked up when it was full without issue twice. The issue happened on the 3rd drop. My contractors were outside & told him he was too close. In the process of him backing up & pulling forward several times to try to get it right, he dropped the dumpster off the truck. It hit some things that were in front of my garage door, which pushed them into the door, bent the bottom 2 panels & tore the **frame loose inside the garage. After days of calling BTDT the manager, ***** answered my call. Within moments of getting on the phone with him he was belligerent. He said he looked at the ****** Maps Street View of my house & that the door was already damaged & the dumpster never touched my house. The more I tried to reason with him, the more hostile he became. He said all I heard was an empty dumpster hitting the ground. He accused me of trying to scam BTDT & hung up on me twice. One of my garage doors was broken on the top panel, but it was the OTHER door. The door that was hit wasn't down quite all the way but was not broken. I sent pics of the damage to no avail. He said there would be bright green paint on it. He refused to come to my house in person & accused me of damaging the door after the fact. The contractors provided pics of the dumpster against the things in front of the door - a moped with the kickstand on the dumpster side, a 5 gallon paint bucket, & a commercial, cast steel, Toledo Chopper meat grinder that weighs 50+ pounds. You can see in the pic that the dumpster hit it, pushing it into the bucket & pushing the bucket into the door. Also attached is a pic of the bright green paint on the meat grinder. He even sent a video from inside the cab that shows the dumpster fall, the driver freak out then ask the contractors if it hit the house, then start cussing when they said it did. BTDT stopped responding to my calls & texts after I sent the pic of it against the garage door.

In response to the complaint filed by the homeowner/resident - we did speak with her (even though technically she was not our customer - the contractor on site was who contracted our services.)  We took her calls because she claimed that we had damaged her garage doors.  We take all claims seriously and therefore our General Manager researched her claim thoroughly.  Our trucks all have cameras in them and as part of the drivers job duties they are required to upload pictures taken at the jobsite onto their completed work orders.  The ** reviewed the photos and in order to assess any possible damage he also downloaded street view pictures taken by ****** for their Maps application.  While reviewing and comparing the pictures our ** realized that the garage doors had been damaged since November of 2023 - see pictures attached.  When the ** spoke with the homeowner/resident it was then that she became irate and started yelling - which is what let to the ** ending the call with her.  She also attempted to blast negative reviews on social media.  We are a reliable and reputable company and our reputation is very important to us, which is why we resolve every issue that arises when we are at fault - and it was evident that we were not.

I am rejecting this response because: the General Manager didnt research the claim thoroughly because he only looked at one single photo from the last driver who picked up (not the driver who actually dropped the dumpster into my door) from one single angle and looked at ****** Street View. In my original complaint attachments, I included those photos with circles around the areas where you can see the difference is. The ** should have come to see the damage in person so that he could actually see it. The photos I included also show the dumpster up against the things it pushed into the garage door, and the green paint from the dumpster on the meat grinder, caused by the dumpster crashing into it and pushing it and other things into the door. The frame that attaches the door to the house was also bent, which he could not have seen without coming to inspect the damage in person. I was unable to attach the video from inside the truck, but it even shows it happen.

I did post negative reviews about Bin There Dump That. People need to know what kind of company theyre dealing with. I dont understand how BTDT can keep blatantly refusing it even happened when there are literally photos of it, and workers from company who hired them saw it happen. I just want them to take responsibility for what they know happened.

      Sincerely,

We acknowledge the concerns raised in the complaint regarding the differing visuals from various angles. However, when comparing the old ****** Street View image to the current picture taken from the same angle, the visuals are consistent. Our bin was placed close to the doors, as depicted in the complaints picture, and it may have potentially come into contact with the meat grinder. Nonetheless, the items leaning against the doors remain in the same position in both images. If our dumpster bin had indeed hit these items and pushed them against the door, there would have been noticeable shifts and changes in their positions.

This, among other factors, was considered during the General Manager's investigation. We understand the complainant may feel the investigation was not thorough because it did not yield the desired outcome. However, if we had determined that the damage to your garage doors was caused by our actions, we would have taken full responsibility and addressed the issue accordingly.

We take great pride in our business and the quality of service we provide. It is unfortunate that the complainant feels otherwise. Throughout our years in business, we have encountered issues that we have promptly corrected, maintaining the trust and expectations of our customers.

We bear no ill will and wish ****************** the very best.

      Complaint: 21607620

I am rejecting this response because even in the photo taken by the final driver (not the photo taken by the driver who dropped the bin that hit my house, by the way), you can see that the bottom panel is dented in. Look between the gray bucket and the back tire of the moped. It's right there. Your logic that the items would have been shifted is unsound. The moped is on a kickstand. The kickstand is on the side of the moped facing the street. When it was pushed into the garage door by your bin, it fell back onto the kickstand. The front tire of the moped is against the frame around the garage door, so the moped could not have moved forward. The bin did not "potentially" come in contact with the meat grinder. You can see in the photos that it did, and that the meat grinder was pushed into the bucket. Even in the photo your driver took, that bucket is right against the door.

The investigation was not thorough. I do not feel this way because it didn't yield the desired outcome, but because had the ** come out to inspect the garage door, he would have been able to actually see the damage. Since he did not, I've provided photos that show it, which you have consistently ignored. You also continue to ignore the fact that 3 employees from Rytech were standing there and saw it happen. You've stated that the garage door was already damaged, which it wasn't, but even if it was that wouldn't negate the fact that your driver dropping the bin off the truck caused damage. The video your ** provided to me, which I'm sure you have, clearly shows the driver drop the bin. Three people who have no relationship to me saw it happen. I'm honestly flabbergasted that you continue to say how much pride you take in your quality of service and in correcting any issues that you caused, but blatantly refuse to accept responsibility for this.

      Sincerely,

Dumpster was ordered by Landscaper to complete work on my backyard to remove Deck and other debris. When the Dumpster was delivered, I moved my vehicle out of the driveway and asked the driver if they could place the dumpster on the right side of Driveway (facing the house) since they would bring debris from that side. About midway up driveway there was a spot where the concrete had a hole under it and I asked the driver if that would be a problem and if so he could leave the dumpster further down the driveway. He said it wouldn't be an issue and drop the dumpster. On 5/3 when the full dumpster was picked up, when the driver picked up the dumpster, the weight broke the concrete in the area in question. When my Landscaper called BinThereDumpThat, they said they talked to the driver stating that he put it where we requested it put and take no responsibility for the damage. Not looking for a replacement of the entire driveway, but I feel that since the drive was specifically asked if would be an issue and he said it would not, they should take responsibility of fixe the broken part of the driveway. I have photos and security camera footage of the delivery and pickup of the dumpster.

      Hello,

After looking further into this matter. I see that a contractor had ordered the dumpster and advised us to place the bin on the left side of the driveway. However when our driver arrived he was directed by someone onsite to place it on the right side of the driveway. After reviewing the cameras on board our truck there was a short conversation onsite between the driver and the person onsite that changed placement of the bin and at no time was a whole shown to or the driver asked to move the bin forward. This is unfortunate that damage did happen. We try our best to not cause any damages is why we place boards under the bin to help prevent things and have the lightest trucks in the industry. We do send out terms and conditions to all of our customers every time they order. Your contractor would have received those and was his responsibility to ensure the driveway or area of placement can handle the weight of the equipment. This is stated in our terms which I have attached a screenshot of that section for you. The sinkhole under your driveway is probably why your contractor wanted it placed on the other side. However you stated that you changed that placement so then the responsibility falls on you to determine that integrity of the foundation. This is unfortunate, however we are not liable in this situation. Best wishes
