As i was parking my lawnmower after cutting my lawn a white ****** pickup truck that I had seen going back and forth past my house swiftly came up my driveway of about 75 to 100ft. A male approached me asking me if I was interested in purchasing fresh meat. I was never given a price on what I was being offered. Instead after his sales pitch and a lady emerging from the drivers seat I was asked what I could spend and I would be given a deal. I should have never gone any further yet I spent $111 with them on my bank card. ( I have the receipt) and the meat. I want a refund and will return the meat still frozen. After researching the address that shows as a residence and calling with a male answering ( Hello) I feel this is a bogus operation. I live a long ways from ******** ** in ****** ******* I can provide names and a copy of the receipt upon requestBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/14) */ My name Is *** I manage the Company we sold the meat to those drivers and allow them acccess to a credit card machine for a fee thats what i told t the customer when he called I explained to the gentleman when he called the independant contractors policy is no refunds exchanges are made for the uneaten meat- when he called his concerns were was this a real company and when I explained to him we were and how we get our meat from ****** every week and have department agg licenses he seemed fine aside from the refund he never said anything about the meat being bad or not getting what he saw those contractors showed him everything and he agreed to buy exactally what he saw even wuth this it says nothing about a bad or faulty piece meat! He said nothing to me about going to you guys and he didnt go to the credit card company after talking to him about company policy the brochure he saw says no refund but exchanges are made ne seemed okand never a complaint about the meat the sales man drive out he lives about an hour from ******** so thats not far they do this full time and I also told him that He was approached by two legit Independant contractors that work selling meat for a living and not some individuals looking to steal or rob him they travel to sell new people people buy in bulk usually to save money call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX shud you need any other information thanks *** *****Initial Complaint

Meat no good. Not tender. No reply from co. 3 attempts. $480 in cash and $262 on card. Told them I had been burned before on truck foods. Guaranteed would be good. Brian **** salesman. Transaction *******. Dec **. I want a refund.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/06) */ I responded to several message from Mrs ****** have copies---I explained to her that the person she bought from is an independant contractor-that I am In **************************************** I gave her Brian the person who sold her phone number and told her call him is a good guy and he was at the sale also he pays a fee to use the card machine I asked her for her phone number and gave her mine as well as Brian her contractor-told her I do not text well I still have not herd back on phone she said last txt Brian called her and will see her in person tuesday the 1-****2022 and give her what ever they agreed too---It is my impression Mrs ****** talked to the person whom sold her and they resolved the issue so this letter is a suprize!
