We had James G*****, the owner, come out and measure and give us a quote. We put money down and we’re told our cabinets would be in by ******** of 2022. While we thought our cabinets were being made, he would ghost us and not return important calls. Closer to install date he told us that he put another job in front of ours and was behind. This information was literally shared days before he was supposed to come and install. We wait once again, I even came by the shop after once again not being able to get ahold of him and he showed me some cabinets and he said they were mine, wrong color but mine. He assured me that the new install date in ******** would not be a problem. He would ghost us again and when he finally came out to install, we were then told just the lowers were coming in. He did a horrible job installing. He put holes in our walls, scratched paint throughout our newly painted house. He didn’t put doors on and many of the cabinets were not even fully painted. We paid him over $9k to have him install just lower cabinets in our kitchen and two bathrooms ( one very small), with no doors or drawers. He never reached out to us after that. No apologies, no responsibility was ever taken for the horrible and poor job this man did in our home. We are owed our money back and we would like an apology from this business owner. We had to spend money to finish and correct cabinets and paint throughout our home.Initial Complaint

We got a quote from this company */2022. He told us he could get the work done before or ******* in **/2022. He said he had everything ready to go and built a few weeks before hand but when it came time to schedule he was not able to. So we decided to wait until after the *******. Rip out was ******** *** 2022. He started bringing some cabinet pieces in on ******** **, 2022. Some of it had incorrect measurements so he had to stop the job, go back to the shop and resize. We didn't have access to our sink, to our stove, our kitchen table was covered with everything from our cabinets for weeks, eating on the floor. Not hearing from him for days at a time. He never set up a time to come back, sometimes he would go all day without responding then respond that he was on his way well after 6 pm and be there till 10pm at times. He would say he was coming some days, would never show, would never respond. We missed work waiting for him on those days and he would then respond with an apology. One of the bottom cabinets had a 3 inch gap, exposing our sub floor and wall, he tried to say that's how it was supposed to be and that the molding would cover the floor, when we pushed he finally readjusted with a spacer. ******** **** he was sent pictures, of chipped paint, uneven hinges, paint peeling in the corners where the caulk was not given enough time to dry, rough edges, sharp edges, exposed edges, paint unfinished, molding not flush, nails exposed, caulk smeared in the corners, wood bowed out on the island. He came and fixed them with bare minimum effort. Our drawers in our pantry hit the door. We were supposed to have a larger pantry which we had mentioned in the original layout, he did make that for us after we reminded him, but the middle of the pantry bows out and it is not flush with the wall. He said that after New years he would come take it out and rebuild it. We have been messaging him for months, he says he will schedule and never does. He has stopped responding.
