March 21, 2022 ******************* of Atlanta Cabinet Coatings came to our home and gave us an estimate for some carpentry work in our kitchen, constructing a new cabinet, new cabinet door and drawer fronts, and a few other odds and ends. The final contract amount on April 22 was for $11,819.45. I paid a $3,000 deposit on April 13. Measurements for the doors and drawers and the cabinet were made by *************************** *************). I was told that the project should be finished around May 13th. Some painting was done the week of May 9th, the cabinet drawer fronts and doors and the old cabinet were removed May 10th. I told them that the countertop templating was going to be done on May 12th and how could the desk area be templated without anything there and was told that it would not be a problem for the countertop company. I was informed by ***** around May 10th that he had had 8 people leave the company recently and that he had no carpenters to do the work on my job. I ended up doing most of the carpentry work myself. I will be asking for credit for the work that I did. Somewhere along in here they hired ***** *************) to be the project ****** and do some of the work and he has been my main point of contact since then. I have been very nice about all of this, but no one in the office will return my calls or texts. They brought out the cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware for installation on May 12th. The wrong style doors and drawers had been ordered and many of them were the wrong size. We refused to accept the wrong items. The custom made cabinet was brought out for installation on May 20th and it did not fit in the space and they needed to make a new one quickly as the countertops were going in May 23rd. The new one they brought out didn't fit either and they needed to make a third cabinet. We had previous commitments to be out of town from May 31st-June 20th. We cannot get anyone now to return our calls or texts to set up a date to finish the job.Business response

We have spoken to **************** and finished his job. We have explained and apologizes to the best of our ability the mishaps that delayed his job.
