Hired the business to install a fuse. The business did not install properly. Another electrician to redo the work correctly. Wants the 375.00 paid to be refunded.Business response

Response taken over the phone.
We installed a GFI circuit breaker. We only charged him for the equipment not the install. We checked the break and it was functioning properly. This consumer sent me a bill for an electrician. I requested his address because I only have the address for his ****** which he does not live there. Consumer did not respond. Please confirm that you want the check to be mail to your ****** and we will send it there. The amount we are willing to refund $120.

First of all in his message he said they checked the breaker and it was working when they left when obviously he plain out lied. There was no power to the box . A second Electrician had to come in and rewire the disconnected and aligned wiring! And charge me $120. Now the excuse that this is an Airbnb, is Incorrect As I also live here. This was explained more than twice and response to his not sending the check and by the BBB. This has been over a week ago and no check has arrived. Please follow up as this will affect his BBB rating thank you **** ******Initial Complaint

Contacted Mr Anderson ****/23 about problems with overflowing gutters, downspouts and associated drainage system at our home in ********. Mr Anderson advised would be $125 charge to come out, review problem, then provide us with report detailing issue and his proposal to resolve it. We agreed to Mr Anderson's terms and made appointment for Friday, ****/23. Mr Anderson came by on the agreed appointment date and spent over an hour reviewing the existing gutter, downspout and drainage system and promised a proposal for us that weekend. We paid him $125 via check. On Monday evening, ****/23, Mr Anderson called and advised proposal would be late as he had been busy with other projects. We agreed okay. On Monday, ****/23, Mr Anderson called and asked if we had reviewed the proposal he sent us. After checking both the regular and spam boxes on my email account, I advised him I had not received it. He advised me to text him my email address to the number he called me from and he would resend the proposal later that evening. I texted him my email address shortly after ending the call. The next morning I checked my email and still had not received the proposal, so I texted him again advising I had not received it. Mr Anderson did not respond. On ****/23 I texted Mr Anderson again advising we still had not received his proposal. I again included my email address and requested that he let me know as soon as he sent it so I could confirm that I received it. I also advised that if our project was outside his scope of expertise, that was okay, but we would expect a portion of the $125 fee to be refunded, as we understood it covered a proposal to correct our issue, which we had not received. As of today, Mr Anderson has not sent us a copy of his proposal and has not replied to our texts.Business response

The USPS tracking number for your check is *********************** It is being dropped off at the post office today. I want to apologize for not being able to complete the initial proposal. We actually have been swamped, my team and I, working 16 hour days for all of us and we have no dedicated customer service or proposal creation agent. That is all done by myself. It has been sent today and is on the way.
