July 20,2022 I agreed to pay TSW $3,500 to fix an issue with water entering my basement. The description of the problem on the estimate was "Driveway slab is higher than house slab in corner allowing rain water to enter the basement." The activity that TSW plan to correct this problem was as follows:* saw cut 2.5 feet around downspout drain and saw cut 17 feet across driveway for new drain. * will lower the section of concrete to stop any water intrusion in the future.* Inject ************' ************** 4.0 inches in affected area of 12 feet x 8 feet driveway to fill void and prevent further settlement (broke due to bad compaction)* will pour new concrete back saw cut area.August 5, 2022 the crew started work. They did the saw cut around the downspout and across driveway but did not install a drain, They filled the cut out areas with my gravel and no concrete. A crew person injected the ************ but it failed to work. The crewman agreed that the Resin did not lift the concrete and he said he would notify the company. I notified ************************* about the job not being completed. At a later time ***** came by to install the drain and mixed cement by hand and filled in the cuts and told me he would be back to smooth out the concrete. He did not come back. August 29, 2022 I sent ***** a text regarding completing the job. He asked that I call ***** at TSW to schedule a date for completion. I did call ***** and let her know about the Resins' not resolving the problem with concrete. No date could be arranged in Sept. and I asked to schedule a date in October. She told me that it would be too far out and the job needed to be closed but that she would contact the boss and call me back. No call back received.Since August 8, 2022 I have been receiving invoices for full payment. I have sent emails and written word asking for an itemized bill so that I could pay for the work that had been completed. I do not feel that I should pay for items that were not completed.

Our concrete correction service (*********** Precision Lift) does not come with any type of warranty. In no way was there any guarantee that the concrete would lift back into place on the estimate only that there would be no further settlement. This estimate was signed by the customer before we started the job. All that was stated on the signed estimate was completed. The correct areas were saw cut, drain was installed, her gravel was placed over the drain (per her request), concrete was poured back to the saw cut area, and the section of concrete was lowered to stop any water intrusion in the basement in the future. This customer did not pay for anything extra.

As for the statement regarding lack of communication, we reached out to this customer through collections because the invoice was not payed. When we asked the customer in September 2022 to pay the amount on the invoice they tried to say the job was not completed, but as stated by the customer above, ***** installed the drain, and poured the concrete back on August 6, 2022. This would result in a completed job.

The customer signed an estimate that ********************* exactly what TSW would be doing to repair this area, knowing there was no warranty or guaranteed concrete lift for this repair. If the customer has any questions, or would like to be walked through the job to address any concerns, we are glad to do so.
