Advanced Pool Services was contracted to provide pool services. They failed to provide services they committed to. Have sent them notice to terminate services and requested refund of a deposit for proposed work to be accomplished in the spring. They have not been responsive. May 24, 2021 I received a quote from Advanced Pool Services for a new liner. He came out and measure and went in detail about what he would be doing. June 2, 2021 I paid half down $2225.00 ($1100 in cash and the rest via debit transaction). Since it has been excuse after excuse of why he can't come out yet. The liner kept getting pushed back, he was sick, jury duty, he had a small car accident, measurements are off, etc... but then he stopped communicating altogether. First is was October 29, 2021 to December 6, 2022 that I didn't hear from him and now it is December 6, 2021 to now and counting. His phone is not taking calls, he doesn't answer texts, I've emailed him today, I called his buddy that he has mentioned and left a voicemail, and his distributor. No one can reach him. I either need my money back OR he needs to finish the job and I am at a loss of what to do because this is the first time I've ever ran in to this problem. He also has never sent me a good receipt of payment even though I have asked many times for a receipt. I have email and text log of communication and quotes. Please help me get this resolved. I am not the only one that has contacted his distributor for help so I know I'm not the only one that he has done this to. $2225 is a lot of money to our family and I have expressed this to him. He needs to resolve this and I am hoping you guys can help me with this situation. I have only been in communication with ****** but his son and another young man has came out once for measurements and once to pull only the shallow end lining out. They left the liner in my yard as well. He also said the physical address you have is not open anymore. Date Of Transaction: 5 October 2021 Amount $1,300 This was a partial payment for a pool cover and the installing fee. *** ****** came by and did measurements and email us a quote for a pool cover he was looking to purchase. He has stopped receiving our calls.
