This nationally known organization ripped off hundreds of teams in Dec 2023. We paid to fly from ***** to *******, paid logging and rental cars - to support my sons team only to have the tournament abruptly cancelled- which was no fault to our team at all! They made up first place teams- without them even playing for it. I have reached out to UTN for him to provide a reimbursement to my sons team their registration fee of $1000- no response and yet they are constantly posting on social media. If all else- at least the parents from the team can get a refund on their ticket purchase. ALL parents who participated in the event felt the same as I (see screenshot). This organization is a scam and must be stopped.Business response

Thank you for providing feedback on your experience. UTN has always worked to provide a fun, safe space for student athletes. Unfortunately, due to parents not following the code of conduct and behaving in a manner that posed a danger to the participants and spectators, the Bay ************************** shut the event down before we could play the last day of the event. We offered to play the last day's games without spectators, the **************** declined that option. This situation was unprecedented for our organization, as UTN has never had an event shut down. We are working on ways to avoid this scenario in the future.
Please note: Our platform and events has always about highlighting the athletes, so you will always see our social media team posting and highlighting the athletes.
Our contractual agreement with any organization is clear at the time of registration, no refunds are provided. However, we always work to do right by the organizations that have supported us. In this situation, our team has worked with each organization directly to refund registration and entry fees of those that were impacted.
We are only able to work with the person who registered for the event. I could not find the name of the complaint in the registration database. Please provide the name of your organization and your head coach. If you are the team registrant, please provide the email address used during registration or the receipt so we can pull the confirmation number. We look forward to hearing from you and bringing this matter to a resolution.
