I purchased a bed in The bedworld store location in Pooler Ga 5/8/22. I paid in full via credit card and signed an agreement if I didn’t like it at the end of 45 days I could return with a refund. I received the bed 5/17/22. I made the first call to the store to start the return process and was given a customer care email to notify them of the return. I tried to send an email 6/29/22. It was not the correct address. My husband called the store and he was given the correct email. He sent an invoice and our intention to return with his personal email address 7/6/22. We got a response back 7/7/22 from that email about a 20% restocking fee. My husband and I called weekly to get the bed removed. We even offered to drop it off ourselves, but again we were told multiple times they had to inspect it by their professionals first and they would schedule a pickup date. I called once more and I finally was able to schedule a date and the bed was removed 8/3/22. Since then I have waited for my refund and I was told by the 2 different employees that they are sending emails to customer care and I should wait for the refund. Originally the amount of time to get my refund was at most 2 weeks. It’s now been over a month from pickup date. I’ve called weekly and was told that emails were sent. This last time, 9/7/22, I was directed to contact the owner by ***** at the Pooler location to call the Bluffton, Ga location. I did I was told I had a strange request he told me his name was **** he was a manager and he would not call me back and hung up. When I tired to call him back there was no answer. I called ***** the original employee who sold us the bed and who was among the receiving end of many phone calls about the incident. I was told I actually spoke to the owner and the owner was upset. I explained I expected a resolution in an hour or I would go to the store location to speak to him. ***** then called me back and said I should expect an email and a refund in 1/2 hour. No refund.
