      I have been a customer of GOL for 5 years and overall, I have had a good experience. The current issue I am having is with a garage door opener that was installed by GOL a couple of years ago. From the time of instillation the equipment never worked. It was looked at by multiple technicians and each one left with no resolve, and never any follow up. Meanwhile I have paid $5 per month for the equipment. In the interim, my garage door sensors stopped working. In preparation to move, I recently hired a garage door company to come replace the sensors they advised me the entire board on my garage door operator was fried and it was because the technician who installed the vector equipment wired it incorrectly. I had to replace my entire operator. I took the documentation from the garage door company to my local GOL office nearly two weeks ago to speak with the owner/manager. They were out of the office so I left my information for them to contact me when they returned. The following week when I had not heard from them I sent an email. Now a week later, still no response. Today when I called the office to find out when I could come in to see the owner/manager I was advised they are in and out of the office and currently in a meeting, but they would give them the message. So again, the run around. I have been a paying customer of this company for 5 years and to not even get a call is in my opinion unacceptable. I was not asking the company to pay for the $300 garage door operator that had to be replaced. I simply wanted to be refunded for the years I’ve paid $5 per month for a device that didn’t work and to be allowed out of my contract (3 months early). I am a reasonable person, experienced in customer relations and business management myself. Ducking and dodging customer complaints while your office staff has to make excuses for you is simply poor business practice.
