Around 07/28/2023 I ordered a remote fob from Car and Truck Remotes and upon receipt noticed that it required a different battery than previous fobs I had and further nvestigion, I realized the incorrect fob had been sent to me.Upon notifing Car and Truck via "chat", they asked if I wanted to return it and I stated that I did; I was sent a postage sticker to return the fob.I received notice on 08/09/2023 that the returned fob had been received and I noticed that my credit card had been credited for $14.51, when total cost of my order had been $18.00.I contacted Car and Truck Remotes about the $3.49 and they replied that their policy states thay do not refude shipping.I do not apprecate incurring an expense for the error of another.I want a credit for #3.49.Business response

I paid $119.99 for a car fob for my ******* mkx. I had purchased it in June. I brought my car in to the dealership after waiting on them to order a part and was finally able to ask them to program the remote. They spent 4 hours trying to program it and they were not successful. They told me the fob wasn't not a working fob and that I should request a refund or replacement where I got it. I emailed and let them know it was not a working one and the dealership couldn't program it. They have told me that they aren't willing to do anything for me even send a replacement.Business response

I do not see any previous communications from this customer.
If she would like to reach out to us with an updated Credt Card number, we can refund her purchase.
The item was purchased in June of 2021. We do have a 90 day return policy in place, but we are willing to refund her if she would like to return the key fob.
Value of key fob is $119.95.
Please have the customer reach out to us and we will happily resolve this issue.

I needed two original remotes for a ****** Matrix. The website has pictures of the refurbished remotes that show the logo and FCC ID number. That is what I ordered. What I received was the aftermarket remotes with no logo but they were the same price. I called support and they wanted me to send back the remotes before they would ship me the correct ones which I need now and not days from now. Now I have to ship back the incorrect ones on my dime to get a refund on my purchase. I would never do business again with a company that does not own up to its mistakes. These are NOT what I ordered and that is NOT my fault. Horrible customer service.Initial Complaint

I purchased a remote for my car from car and truck remotes located in **********,** with a warranty for $128.00 the remote is cannot be programmed and it's no good order number ******
