I would give this business a -10, if possible. We signed a contract to have our home remodeled and after ten months of excuses and incompetence we fired Mr. Jackson owner of Jackson Remodeling. He never arrived on time and worked a few hours each day. His workers left beer bottles all over my yard along with rubbish. The marshal called me on numerous occasions about the garbage on the yard. He was never prepared to work, making two trips to get material that should have been on site. After firing him for his incompetence, unprofessionalism, and little to no work being completed, he is refusing to return a large sum of money we paid to have work completed. We have repeatedly called and texted him to return our hard earned money for work that was contractually never completed in ten months for a house less than 1,000 sqft. He’s a scam contractor -artist who doesn’t deserve be in business. We are forced to take legal action for this unprofessional and incompetent business taking our money and not remotely completing the job he was paid to finish. This company gives black businesses a horrible name. Mr. Jackson should be put in jail and put out of business for scamming hardworking people. It’s criminal the money we paid him and the work he failed to complete after ten months of his lies and incompetence. Do not use this company and spread the word because he is a danger to the community. I had to repeatedly call him and inquire where are you, as I awaited his arrival each day. He was always more than three hours late to the site and worked for less than three hours each day. The workers he hired reeked of ******* and took more breaks than actually working. I had to repeatedly request his crew clean up the yard each day, when they did work. They would leave piles of beer cans and debris all over the yard. Jackson Remodeling should never have the opportunity to steal money from hardworking people! Jackson Remodeling is a scam company who should be put out of business
