On Saturday, 5/7/22, drop packages to return to Amazon. After scanning several items, I brought in a very large box that was labeled and ready to go. Employee asked if it was labeled properly, which it was and I pointed to the label. For whatever reason, he took offense at my pointing to the label and stated he was just asking to be sure. He proceeded to complain about customers and I asked him to please just scan my box. He continued and I suggested he should not be speaking to customers in this way. He scanned the box and I proceeded to walk out of the store. While finishing up texting in my car, I noticed the employee come out with the box and place it on a busy sidewalk in downtown. When I returned to the store, I asked for his supervisor and he refused. I reminded him that the box was scanned and he needed to process it and that treating customers so rudely was unacceptable. He refused to call a supervisor and to get the box off the public sidewalk. Had I not been in the car, my property valued at over $100 would have been stolen and I wouldn't have known. I noticed he ripped the label off the box and must have de-scanned it. This incident is concerning and should be addressed.
