Seven years ago, MRC guided us through a time when our copper shingle roof needed to be replaced due to wind damage. Our insurance company was not thrilled at the prospect of replacing our copper roof. They sent out adjusters and engineers to verify that roof was in fact wind damaged. Sure enough, the wind damage was undeniable, and the longer they investigated our roof the more interior water damage we received. Eventually Our carrier settled our claim for the amount needed to replace the roof with new copper shingles. We gave MRC the go ahead to commence the reroofing process, and because we were planning to install photovoltaic panels on our flat roof, we had MRC coat our flat roof with commercial grade silicone in order to last the life span of the new PV system. Our custom roof has some interesting nooks, crannies, skylights and chimney transitions that needed some extra attention even after the roofing was complete. MRC returned to our roof free of charge to ensure our water tightness. After many months of interviewing for the right roofing contractor, because I needed a contractor to reroof my old 3-layered shingled roof, which had many leaks. I needed to replace the 10 year old solar fan and fix up a problematic section of the roof which accumulated water and sediment.I was fortunate to select the best roofing contractor in ********, MRC Roofing. Not only did they step up to the challenge, they far exceeded my expectations in workmanship and superior materials, at a competitive price.When the job started, I spent the next 2 days watching a huge team of workers transform my roof. They were able to redesign a low spot in my roof that collected water. They installed new lumber construction to create a new slope with the proper pitch to solve the low spot problem. MRC installed a second layer of underlayment free of charge. They installed a free solar attic fan as a promotional item. They were able to provide me with an extended labor and material warranty for ten cents per square foot because they are shingle factory certified installers. MRC coordinated with my hot water solar contractor so that close timeline scheduling would be possible, and my hot water panels wouldnt be offline too long. MRC was able to access my 3-story roof, and they maneuvered around my existing PV system without having to detach and reset my PV panels. My roof had three layers of old brittle shingles that were cracking off in the wind. The new Malarkey shingles have a rubber component in the asphalt that will keep them pliable for the long term, and the extended warranty is transferable if we sell the house (a major selling point). MRC tied in my new shingle roof to an existing flat roof (in a seamless fashion) that was coated with silicone. Call MRC Roofing if you need a quality install with quality roofing materials.

Our roof was well overdue for replacement: the shingles were brittle, breaking off and blowing away in the wind. I reached out to five different roofing companies, two of which didnt bother to return my call. I selected MRC Roofing because I was pleased with the responsiveness and clear communication from *** and the recommended shingle (Malarkey Highlander) appeared to be a quality product. On top of that, because MRC is a certified installer for Malarkey shingles, they offer a no-brainer, relatively inexpensive extended warranty which also includes the ability to transfer the warranty once to a new owner which was an important factor for me. The two other companies did not offer a comparable option. The roof removal and install crew worked quick and diligently on task. The crew seemed to get along and worked well with each other, making their grueling work seem fun. Any questions I had while the crew was there were addressed right away. At the end of both days, they made several rounds to cleanup the area, including removing roofing debris that managed to travel to neighboring yards from the wind. Even my neighbors commended the crews attitudes and work.From start to end, the entire process with MRC Roofing went extremely well. If I had to do it all over again, Id still go with ********************** and highly recommend them.

Our roof sustained wind damage and we found asphalt shingles in our yard. We initiated an insurance claim and called a few roofing companies to provide free quotes. MRC Roofing wasnt the cheapest quote we received but because of the thoroughness of the quote with pictures, notes and materials used for the job we went with MRC and it was a good thing also because *** at MRC provided enough information about our roof to the insurance company that they did in fact settle on our claim for a new roof. MRC came recommended by *************. Ponchos and MRC worked hand in hand to coordinate the job with as little downtime as possible for both our PV electric and hot water solar systems on the roof that needed to be detached and re-attached. The insurance claim also included money for the solar scopes. MRC was able to complete the job in one day and I had a new roof. Our original roof was a lite color but years of algae had turned it black and made for a hot living space in our high ceiling living room. Our attic was hot also. *** took a laser temperature reading for us and showed the attic to be well over 100 degrees. We now have a solar attic fan also and our living room is noticeably cooler. I would highly recommend MRC Roofing.

MRC installed a reflective silicone coating on our roof in 2021. The difference in ************ temperature is quite noticeable, allowing us to limit the use of our air conditioner, thus saving us money and hopefully protecting the environment. Our representative ***, from MRC who was highly recommended from a friend in the real estate industry was extremely responsive and thorough. The roofing crew was very efficient (only taking a day or two) and ensured that the site was clean when they completed the work. I highly recommend MRC Roofing to install silicone if you have a lower slope roof, or any kind of roofing type for that matter.

MRC Roofing coated my roof 10 years ago with GACO silicone. It's still going strong. I'm glad that it doesn't need any ********************. The previous acrylic type of coatings like HydroStop always need ******************** after a few years, but this ten-year-old silicone coating has the same thickness today as the day it was installed. Thank you MRC for the long life silicone you installed ten years ago on my house.

MRC was able to help me with securing a new insurance policy by inspecting my existing roof and providing a roof report proving that my existing roof did not need to be re-roofed and had plenty of life still left in it. MRC has provided me with a great benefit. Not only do I feel secure that my current roof is in fine shape, but I am now able to haggle with insurance companies for a lower rate and higher coverage.
