7/7/2024 *I paid to the business a total of $5,252.81 from September, 2020 to April, 2024. *This business committed to investigate my case and to provide me a quality service.* The nature of this dispute is because there was a broken pipe under the house since August 2023. I report this issue to the landlord and the water company as soon, I realize or notify this issue. Landlord contact 3 different company or resource. Finally 3rd company fix the issue with the pipes. I keep paying my bill as normal. My bill get higher from $132.83 to $1.352.75 by the time finish with the investigation that I requested. I tried to provide proof of broken pipes companies information, proof of repair to water company about this issue and this companies reject this information. They told me: it's not necessary. They refuse this information to be used for investigation- I wonder: How they will investigate without information. Why they charger me $714.33 for sewer water if water went to the ground?. They never process this water to be reused. Not matter what I do to reduce my bill by using less water. My bill keep going up and up every month. They keep billing me the same amount of money every month for 3 or 4 month consecutive. How I can used the same amount of water every month? **************** are train to repeat same information over and over. Not sense. Like robot. Not professional knowledge.* They inform to me that they solve this problem by giving me a bill adjustment of $495.11. But I don't see any different. **** get higher after adjustment and after I moving out of this property. This is a big SCAM to costumers. Balance is $1,352.75.I not agree with this bill. I didn't used this water. They refuse to investigate with the suitable information. Unfair charging me for a sewer water that never was sewer and water that I never used.Business response

The list of exponentially increasing bills is erroneous and Board of Water Supply has me on hold for the 3rd time, almost a half hour so far. There is a leak on the street side of the meter.I am one person, living alone. There is NO WAY I could use that much water in one month.Settlement: refund of all amounts over $300 for each bill since 1/24/2022. Attention Resolutions Office:
In response to BBB Complaint #******** (below) The Board of Water Supply (BWS) has contacted ************** by phone on 10/25/2022 to let him know there was no high bill or billing error for his account. We explained that his account had not been paid since 11/08/2021 and that the $1,329.64 balance due, that he saw, was the sum of the monthly bills issued between 11/24/2021 and 10/24/2022. After the call, a follow up email was forwarded to ************** with his financial history for the billing period in question.
