On Sat Aug 13/ 2022 I entered Bad A** Coffee next to me residence. I was met by a very rude barista who was being awful to the customers and myself. Today, Aug 14th, I saw on my credit card statement that the barista working at the ******* Bad A** Coffee on Sat Aug 13, charged me over $16.00 for a 12oz regular iced coffee. A vendor outside the store stated that this barista frequently scams "tourists". This barista is unaware I live here. I attempted to contact the store and they proceeded to hang up on me, and corporate will not respond to me. Tourists need to be warned of this barista.Business response

Im very disappointed to hear about his complaint. Weve been in business 14 years and never received a complaint like this. After looking through my POS system, no transaction looks like the complaint. We do not sell 12 oz iced drinks. I also never spoken to this person, I could not have hung up on her. If she could be more specific, I would be happy to refund her. Maybe she could contact her bank and deny the charges. The bank will be able to produce the transaction amount and time, which will give me more accurate information. We also have security cameras, which I can get photos of the transaction. The vendor outside has been friends with me for 20 years and would never say this about my employees. We suspect she talked to the homeless lady who sleeps on the property that we have asked to leave several times. Or if the complaint can ask the vendor for written statement corroborating her story would be helpful. The employees working that morning has only worked for us for 7 weeks, Im not sure she could have a reputation so quickly. I apologize for the poor service, but it has never been our intention to steal or rip off anyone. Ive spoken to the employee and will try to provide excellent service.

I am rejecting this response because:They are blindly denying what I have bank statements showing. It only makes them appear more guilty of these occurrences.. the drink I ordered was made by the barista as her own replacement, of another that contained sugar. Whether or not she later added a larger tip I don't know. The bank statements don't lie. Only the business.
