May 22, 2024 10am. I am due to give birth in 7 days. When I got there, a woman came up to me and asked what's your name, I said my name and she said oh you're with me. I told her that my OBGYN doctor said I can't lay on my back for long periods of time (which the description of this service said it would be ***** minutes), I also told her I usually lay on my sides or in a chair to do my lashes. She said perfect they have a recliner and we could do it there. Ok I got on the recliner and she laid me back in a laying position after I just told her I can't lay down for long periods of time. So because I didn't want to make a fuss, I figured I could scoot my bottom sideways to keep the weight of my uterus off the ***************** nerve and arteries. This position was soooo uncomfortable and I had to keep shifting my weight from side to side on my bottom. After a few minutes she said "can you move more up towards me, I can't really reach you, and I don't think it's you, maybe but yeah I've never lashed in this recliner so can you move up?" She kept asking me thru the 1 hour and 41 minutes to move up closer to her. my neck was once again over extended and in pain. The hair pulling got worse. When it was over she handed me a mirror and I was shocked. Then I told myself go look at it in the bathroom I'm probably just trippin. I went up to the front desk to pay and thought for sure this girls gonna see what she did and also be shocked. She said volume set, 151$ something cents. I told her yes I did ask for a volume set but this is not a volume set and lifted up my glasses to show her. Without even blinking or even taking a look, she said "yes! That's a volume set!" I shook my head, paid the ridiculous price for trash knowing dam well I've been doing my lashes over 10 years straight and knowing what are volume lashes and that wasn't it. I quickly left after paying and did not tip. To take someone's money for a service that was said to be done that was not done is not ok.Business response

This is *** the owner of Pinkys Beauty Box. Today I am made aware of this complaint through bbb email. Had I known what was going on sooner this problem would have been resolved through our 3 day warranty. 6/9/24 9:57am I reached out to the client via her phone number ************. The client did not pick up the phone so I left her a text message. Waiting for her to respond.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I was not able to respond right away at 9:57am when *** called and texted me as I just had a c section 1 week ago and am taking care of a newborn baby. However, I did respond to *** via text at 1:23pm on 06/09/24 asking her how would she like to resolve my complaint due to my numerous request for a refund since I didnt get the service I scheduled and paid for. Its 5:46pm now on 06/09/24 and no response from *** at this time. Therefore, I am rejecting her response. Please refund me the full amount I paid for, for a service I did not receive and for the inconvenience.
