On 8/29 I inquired/had my credit ran for an item that I was advised available. I was apporved for this item. Once I was apporved salesman started to avoid my texts and calls, giving me misinformation. Today when I was travelling to get machine, they called and told me that someone made a deposit on 8/28. Upon further investigation that deposit was not made today. I was already approved, and committed to purchasing this unit. They have forged documents in the past on a vehicle I purchased from them and beleive they are retaliating against me for my previous legal action. They gave me three hard inquiry's on my credit and had to reason to sell the machine to another person I had been approved for and showed clear intent to purchase.Business response

Good morning,
Our team on the McGrath ************* takes great pride in finding the right unit for our powersports enthusiast and making it easy to buy. There are many moving pieces that must happen behind the scenes during these transactions. Securing a lender to provide a loan was a challenge with this case, which extends the timeline of the purchase experience. The 2021 Argo that was inquired about is one of our promotional units this month with a savings of $6,333. This is almost a 50% discount from the original price. With this type of discount and spotlight on the unit we had a significant increase of interest and leads on the unit. To be fair to all potential buyers we work with all inquiries until we have all the items needed to obtain financing and a purchase agreement has been reached. Unfortunately,in this case **** was not the first person to express intent to buy with the secured funds to complete the purchase. Typically, when this happens, we have a similar unit to offer our guest, but the Argo is not a normal piece of inventory and is a unique machine that we normally do not have to offer. We are not an Argo dealer, and we only had this unit due to it being a trade in from a previous guest.
I am unaware of any previous issues that *************** have experienced with our business.

Bought a 2013 YZF-R1 from these crooks. It has had a ton of problems since buying it. McGrath Powersports claims to have sold me a "certified pre-owned" bike and charged me over $700 for this. Nowhere does it state what "certified pre-owned" means, entails etc. However they claim they go through the motorcycles before they sell them. This is an outright lie. I have had to replace a fuel pump seal, a starter, a horn, numerous fasteners which some where lost by them as you could tell the bolts had just been removed. They also claimed to have put a new battery in the bike. They didn't. New batteries don't have dirt caked on them, so they lied about this too. They also claimed to have done a brake service on the bike. Another lie. Nothing was done to the brakes. I called them out on this and they claimed to have flushed the front and rear brake fluid. They didn't do this either. They simply emptied both reservoirs and filled it with brake fluid. They say them will take care of issues with the bike but then jerk you around and set your bike on the back burner. I was able to have parts overnighted to me to fix the issues. The general manager asked "how did you do that?" as its obvious he is in the wrong business if he doesn't know how to expedite parts or I have a better relationship with ****** from 2 decades of dealing with them then these clowns do. Either way the name McGrath is nothing but a scumbag dealership(s) that they have been known for in town for over 30 years. Even though they will try to say they aren't like that anymore. They are EXACTLY like they used to be and never skipped a beat with ripping people off. They also force you to buy some stupid "theft protection" garbage that you have no proof of exactly what it is you are paying for. There is nothing on the bike to indicate I was provided ANYTHING, no paperwork that indicates what I was provided. This is just another tactic to take money from you and provide absolutely nothing in return.Business response
