I tried to cancel my subscription before the QC Times charged my Visa for a 6 month extension but they refused to give me my money back. I agreed to the E-edition subscription at $10.99 a month, then in May of 2023 got a notice it was going up to $14.99 a month and a family member just got notice it’s going up to $26.00 a month! Totally unacceptable!!! I will be canceling as soon as the QC Times has “milked” my account dry!!!

There is no subscription under the name ***************** in our Quad-City Times database. We have emailed *** at ****************** to let her know.

We have been unable to address this complaint. The last name '*****' is not in our system. Since we don't have subscriber by the name *****, we reached out to the supplied email but haven't heard back.

Trying to place a classified and I swear there are no people there to acknowledge receipt, provide costs, etc. Very poorly operated customer service.

You do not want to hear what I think. We have had frightening nightmares with the paper and the carrier for over 8months. If the paper continues to operate as it has been lately, it will not be operating within over another year. Further, the BBB is no better. They don't want to hear about the paper either. We have been subscibers to the paper for over 70years of our marriage. I am ashamed to even deal with them they are so flawed. There are not enough words to express what they have put us thru and how corrupt they are. They do not even deserve the one star rating.

We spoke with Alice Dailing and have credited her account for one month of her subscription (valued at $20.00) and she was happy with that solution.

WARNING! Do not subscribe as no one is ever available to trouble shoot. And I mean NEVER. We have received 1 day of onetime delivery in the past 45 daysremarkable that we received a paper at all as QC Times has the worst customer service of any business in my LIFETIME! Thats right. No response at all. No papers ever. These characters can not deliver on what they so aggressively sell.

I had been a ** Times subscriber for more than 35 years. Up until today. We moved from the ** several years ago but wanted to continue receiving the "hometown news". So, we subscribed to the e-edition. The price went up from $11.99 to $19.99 over the 3 or so years that we had a subscription. I was ok with the increase assuming that the printing and electronic cost, like everything else, was escalating. On April 24, 2022, when I went in to read the paper, I received a notification that I would need to subscribe to the paper. At that point I had already been a subscriber for several years. I did, but I could not get past the password requirement. I called the Times at the number listed on the website and spoke with a man who stated that they were in the process of making changes and that the mix-up was temporary. Well, 2 months later and $19.99 auto-debit each month, I still am not receiving the paper. I called again today was told by a person named ***** who was located in ***** I think he said, that I was a platinum subscriber and that's why the price increased. (Nobody told me about my status). He stated that I needed to check my span because that's probably where the notifications from the Times had gone since I did not receive any notifications of the changes being made to my account. I checked. There was nothing in span from the Times. This is what happens when services are outsourced. All credibility is lost.I am extremely disappointed in the Times. I will miss reading about what's going on at "home". I cancelled my pay subscription. Was told that the refund will be in the form of a check and will take several weeks. Why pay when I can pull it up in my browser and read? Since I am no longer a "platinum" subscriber, the news may be a little different, I guess. This kind of change really reflects negatively on the paper. A paper that was once very good.
