Worst renting experience Ive ever had. Pest issues year round (roaches, etc), dog p*** and **** left in the halls/stairwells for days, maintenance entering your unit at random times even if you didnt put in a request. Management never answers the phone, BH app is useless 99% of the time.Tbh save your time and move onto the next place.Review from Angeline C

BH Management deserves every bit of this one-star review. They manage The Cornerstone in *******, where I lived for two years, and trying to work with them after my move-out was an absolute nightmare. Initially, I worked with The ************ team, including ******* *****, to get my security deposit back. But after they slapped me with unfair charges, they conveniently redirected me to BH Management, washing their hands of the whole thing.And BH? Completely unresponsive. I sent certified mail with video proof of the condition I left the apartment in, gave them a clear deadline, and nothing. No response. They ignored me as if I didnt follow every proper channel to dispute the charges. It became obvious they had no intention of addressing my concerns or even acknowledging my existence.If you're renting in a property managed by BH Management, be prepared for them to disappear when you need them most. They have no interest in resolving tenant disputes fairly or professionally. I ended up having to get a lawyer involved just to get my deposit back. Dont make the mistake of thinking theyll do the right thingdocument everything, and be ready to fight for whats yours.Review from Travis L

I have been a living in a 1/1 at ******************************************************, for over four years. During this time, I have experienced ongoing issues with excessive noise in the building, which I have repeatedly reported to property management. As a result of my history of noise complaints, management knows me by name and is fully aware of my concerns.Recently, despite my documented complaints, the management placed a family with three young children and a big dog, in the 1/1 unit directly above mine. Since their move-in, the noise levels have significantly increased, causing further disturbances to my daily life. I believe the managements decision to place this family directly above me, given my history with noise complaints, seems intentional.I recently filed second noise complaint in a week, and this was managements response:Good afternoon ******,We cannot send constant violations for residents making livable noise. These are things that come with apartment living. We understand your frustration. Please be patient, as there are children in the home.I feel as though my concerns are not being taken seriously, and that the property manager or ********* *. the woman Ive been dealing with may be taking my complaints personally. It also feels as though these tenants were intentionally placed above me, knowing I would likely continue to complain. As a result, Im left wondering whether Im expected to keep filing complaints indefinitely without resolution, making everyone involved unhappyReview from Frank M

We moved here in August, and we didnt receive an apartment that looked anything like the model that was shown to us when we moved in it wasnt too one of the older apartments in the back that they have a hard time trying to fill when we moved in, we discovered roaches all over the kitchen and dead ones in the lights, the carpet was so old and dingy It was falling apart, and when my wife went to go step on it, the bottom of her feet got dirty we have tried to bring these issues to their attention, and we have tried to do everything else we can in order to work with them. Whatever you do do not move here number one because they dont care about anything else except trying to get you into one of their nasty apartments. Where the garbage piles up they never pick up your garbage on time. The hallways are filthy with streaks of nasty liquid from someone dragging their garbage down the stairs, and you can see the drips from when the valet garbage people come to pick up the garbage Num 2 do not trust the leasing team at the main office do not sign any leases, until you have seen the apartment that you are going to move into first also, there are better apartments around theyre charging the same amount of rent was better floorplans cleaner, facilities and you dont see the cops around there all the time weve had cops knocking at our door in the middle of the night, trying to find missing children neighbors that are super noisy and they do nothing about like I said just a half a mile up the street or even a mile or two around that area there are far better apartments and dont let them tricky with the $500 or $1000 moving because they find ways in order to take that money away from you after you sign the lease seen it all theres other charges that Ive been incurred do not trust him, and do not move there. Whatever you do, save yourself, the headache and the stress of Miss Management. And living somewhere where you could feel at peace because you will get no peace there.Review from Samantha B

If I could give zero stars I would. I lived in a BH management property for two years and had an okay time. But based on my move out I would never stay with another BH facility in the future. We were changed for a full carpet replacement, after only living in the unit for 2 years. The carpets were not replaced before we moved in and had some wear and tear they tried to cover up after cleaning. The carpet was noted to being 4 years old, with this in mind our 2 years in the unit could not make a the carpet unsalvageable. They stated that there was heavy foot traffic. If we knew that walking between room would be an issue we would have never walked around our home. Our lease includes the statement by way of example ordinary wear and tear would include such things as traffic wear across the carpet, but not cigarette ***** or stains. In the inspection report there is no evidence showing any damage, just traffic wear which as stated in the lease is normal wear and tear. The internal office team did not respond to our emails in a timely manner, having me follow up a few times. When I requested to speak to management over the phone they never called. Though we had proof via the lease we were not liable we were still charged $249 and are considering have a lawyer look this over and moving to a small claims court case. I am a resident whos lived here 2 plus years and have constantly been ignored by administration with this management here. I removed my pet and was told to email to update my pet fees and remove one pet off our lease which was done easily the first year when my pet ran away and passed and brought a new cat and it was updated immediately yet now in 2024 September I am still being charged for a pet for the last 2 months I no longer have in the home and have been constantly ignored by the office management and its been super unprofessional..I have went to great lengths to reach out and try to force them to address my concerns and update my pet fee and even in the renewal they want me to sign and pay monthly for 3 pets .. i am looking to renew but when my renewal even still includes the pet i no longer have it is leaving me far from frustrated with people in the office in the *********** area the office is never open the phones are never answered and my emails and concerns are always ignored and disregarded when Im the primary household member and theyve gone as far to ignore my concerns and email to a point they will only email one of my family members emails instead of mine so they dont have to address the fee update. I dont know who else to contact about this for this to be changed because Im becoming extremely frustrated with the way im being treated and not being taken care of by you guys. I loved it here not I dont know if I want to renew and Im considering moving out because of the way I have been completely neglected for this issue and neglected for a year as well with other issues ignored and nobody will get back to me or give me any update but keep charging me unnecessary extra fees and Im honestly unsure where to go or what to do because this is not okay honestly.. I just wish the people working here actually cared about taking care of the residents completely unprofessional behavior anytime Ive interacted with anyone hereReview from Amera S

The four weeks ago I went to that property with one of my friend to help her application and translate for her and the main complex they know about it and they give me always information and they send me email and text messaging and later than that we start applying application I helping her to apply for her and her husband then back to the office theres no location for the husband and I told her but I did she keep it for you. She said she need to go online and I told her OK which online maybe because Im in wrong website we again we back to their website to see. Maybe theres really no application will you figure out still theres application but is missing a bank statement then we put the bank statement. She say theres an application and I told her hey just look into that video recording there is obligation and asking for the statement and we put that statement , still not showing up she say no she need to her husband to the bank and we did not application on the system , Be honest, The manager and the stuff in the complex its really really bad customer service,,They not helping give more information. also, they not doing them **** job very well. They just only say go online go online thats it that they can do it and we paid for the application administration online and we apply we had approved for applying for me and husband, but they say the application for the husband is not showing up. Theres no application they denied for that reason and we have proof we record every single step We do it online and how many documentation we put it, but they denied for that reason , now we asking for money nobody responded. When we ask for refunded the money she yelling on me and she started heading the table then she called the police she lying and she told the police Im yelling on her?? when the police is coming and Figure it out They lying lying They remind me go to the website and ask for refund the money and reviewing online about service .Review from Lauren D

I was offered a promotion for renewing my lease which the property manager did not apply and was non responsive to my concern. The promotion clearly states that the discount will be applied to the first full month of my new lease term. My previous lease expired on 8/31/2024, and my current lease is for 9/1/24-8/31/25, so September is when the discount should have been applied based on what was offered. This is deceptive for current lessees and they should be aware that management did not react nor respond to my complaint before rent was due.Review from Ben F

I've left a review everywhere I can to do my best to let people know not to live here. The landscaping is pretty, but that is the only good thing I can say about my this place. ******************************, ********, ********, and anyone else in the leasing office are pretty inattentive and ineffective when it comes to anything. Not to mention ******* will confidently give you wrong information (like when he told me an entirely new lease, not a lease transfer, but a whole new lease would cost me $500 since I am an existing resident) and be demeaning to you while he does it. Maintenance is a joke, neighbors are rude, gates don't work, cars get broken into, and there are constant pool parties that block the driveways during the spring/summer. They're always trying stupid "community engagement" stuff, but won't actually invest in trying to make their community a better place to live. I'm moving after one year and couldn't be more thrilled to leave The Preserve. And if/when they respond requesting anyone to reach out to them, I can guarantee we have. I have lived here for 6 months and had nothing but issues due to fire on my first day ***** infestation, front door area cover in duck s*** leaking kitchen sink the manager ****** z wont return calls or emails.
