Background: My son is ill & tested very high for mold mycotoxins in his blood. I identified the mold issue. It took over a month for mitigation to be completed through my insurance. During that time I also installed a Reme-Halo air purification system & an electrostatic filter on my HVAC system, & purchased a huge Alen air purifier to supplement the two Molekule purifiers I already had. I have records for these facts. Cleaning my air ************** was the last part of the mitigation process I wanted to do in the house to be sure we were completely rid of mold spores, etc. I hired Stanley Steemer to clean my air ducts on 11/4/22 based on their advertisement on the website (https://www.stanleysteemer.com/our-services/air-duct-cleaning).On the day of the cleaning, the employees notified me that my furnace area was too small for them to do the traditional cleaning and they needed to "backpull" the dust. I assumed it would go into a vaccuum. But they pulled all the ************* right out all my vents into my house WITHOUT any vaccuum. The upstairs was completely cloudy there was so much dust. They even took an armful of debris to their truck! They had NOT connected a vaccuum to any vents, so my son and I immediately masked up. I was absolutely dumbfounded at the dust and debris that was now all over everything in the house. They cleaned the floors, but not the furniture, ********************* My house was dirtier than before they arrived! I called 11/5 in tears to complain - there's a record. For 3 weeks I've been in contact with ************************* at S.S. sending ******************** asking for a refund. He refused, saying the service was "completed." But it was 100% NOT completed as their website advertises or the way I expected. See the pictures attached, their website service description, and see how dirty my house was. I had to hire a cleaner to clean up what they did. Mold spores were in the ducts and my son's health was put at risk. A refund & damages are needed.
